Phil Vickery (chef)
Philip Vickery (born 2 May 1961) is an English celebrity chef. He is best known for working on ITV's ''This Morning (TV programme), This Morning'', where he has been a Chef since 2006. Career Vickery followed Gary Rhodes as head chef of the Castle Hotel, Taunton, Castle Hotel, Taunton, Somerset, which at the time held a Michelin Star. It lost its Michelin status under Vickery, but retained its 4 AA rosettes, while he gained the ''AA Chef of the Year''. Vickery regained the Michelin star, re-awarded for four consecutive years from 1994 to 1997. Vickery has written twelve books. The first, "Just Food", was published by Headline in 1999. He appeared in BBC's ''Ready Steady Cook'' over 200 times between 1996 and 2010 until the show's retirement, often being nicknamed "Phil Victory" due to his high win record in the series. Folkestone
Folkestone ( ) is a port town on the English Channel, in Kent, south-east England. The town lies on the southern edge of the North Downs at a valley between two cliffs. It was an important harbour and shipping port for most of the 19th and 20th centuries. There has been a settlement in this location since the Mesolithic era. A nunnery was founded by Eanswith, granddaughter of Æthelberht of Kent in the 7th century, who is still commemorated as part of the town's culture. During the 13th century it subsequently developed into a seaport and the harbour developed during the early 19th century to provide defence against a French invasion. Coeliac UK is a UK charity for people with coeliac disease - a condition estimated to affect 1 out of every 100 people and to be twice as common in women as in men - and the skin manifestation of the condition, dermatitis herpetiformis (DH). History Founded in 1968 by Amnesty International founder Peter Benenson, and Elizabeth Segall, Coeliac UK (originally called The Coeliac Society) launched the first symbol that acknowledged and advertised that a product contained no gluten, namely the Crossed Grain symbol. James Martin (born 30 June 1972) is a British chef and television presenter, best known for his television work with the BBC and ITV. Martin presented the BBC cookery series ''Saturday Kitchen'' from 2006 until 2016, before leaving the BBC. Ross Kelvin Burden (16 December 1968 – 17 July 2014) was a celebrity chef from New Zealand. His early career was as a model and he became a chef later in life inspired by the time spent cooking with his grandmother. Career Burden's professional television career began after he reached the final of the BBC series '' MasterChef'' 1993.
