Phil Goss
Philip Alexander Goss (born April 7, 1983) is an American former basketball player. At a height of 6 ft 2 in (1.88 m) tall, he was able to play at both the point guard and shooting guard positions. High school career Goss played for his local Oxon Hill High School, with which he won the Class 4A Maryland State Championship in 2000. He was named All-Met Second Team by The Washington Post, in 2001. College career Goss committed to play college basketball at Drexel University, of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA), and the NCAA Division I, prior to the signing of head coach Bruiser Flint, in April 2001. The Capital City Go-Go are an American professional basketball team in the NBA G League based in Washington, D.C., and are affiliated with the Washington Wizards. The Go-Go play their home games at the CareFirst Arena. The team is owned by Monumental Sports & Entertainment. James "Bruiser" Flint (born July 23, 1965) is an American men's college basketball coach, currently an assistant coach at Arkansas Razorbacks men's basketball, Arkansas. He was most recently the head coach at Drexel University. Collegiate playing career Flint is a 1987 graduate of Saint Joseph's University. While attending St. Joe's, Flint was a member of the school's varsity basketball team. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the Basketball positions, five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position and is usually the shortest player on the court. Point guards are expected to control the pace of the game. They effectively "run" the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time.
