Phatt (Ricardo Burgrust)
Phatt is a Dutch singer, songwriter and producer. He generally performs under his stage name and writes, composes and produces under his real name, Ricardo Burgrust. Phatt has performed and worked with international artists such as Chaka Khan, Candy Dulfer and Rick Ross. Until 2010, Phatt was a member of the RMXCRW, pronounced as RemixCrew. With the RMXCRW, Phatt toured the world and had several hit songs. Biography Phatt grew up in the Netherlands. He started singing in a choir when he was six years old. He was inspired by his cousin, who was a pop star in Portugal. Phatt's mother is from Portugal, and his father is from Suriname, in South America. When he was a teenager, Phatt went to a high school that specializes in music and dance, and he studied singing at the conservatory of Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Joseph Lewis Thomas (born July 5, 1972), known mononymously as Joe, is an American Contemporary R&B, R&B singer-songwriter and record producer. Gustaaf Stephanus Modestus "Guus" Meeuwis (born 23 March 1972) is a Dutch singer-songwriter. As part of the band Vagant, he scored several hits in the Netherlands and Flanders during the 1990s and first decade of the 2000s. On 24 May 2015, Meeuwis became the first Dutch language performing artist ever to play a fully booked concert at London's Royal Albert Hall. Biography Guus Meeuwis was born at a monastery in Mariahout, a small village in the municipality of Laarbeek where his parents were living temporarily. TopNotch is a Dutch record label specializing in hip-hop. The label was founded in 1995, and is run by Vincent Patty. After some commercial success (with rap acts such as De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig, The Opposites, Def Rhymz, Postmen, and Extince) it became allied with Virgin EMI Records, and since 2004 has a marketing and distribution deal with PIAS Entertainment Group. Dino Orpheo Canterburg (born 2 July 1986, in Paramaribo), better known by his stage name Damaru, is a Surinamese singer and rapper.
