Phanya Nirunkul
Phanya Nirunkul (, born 24 March 1955) nickname Ta () is a Thai actor, host and businessman. He is one of the co-founders and chairman of Workpoint Entertainment Public Company Limited. Early life Phanya Nirunkul had the real name is Phanya Kitinirunkul but later the word "Kiti" was removed and had nickname is Piang () currently is now known as Ta () or Sia Ta (). He was born on March 24, 1955, into a Thai-Chinese family. His mother, Amphan Nirunkul, was the 2003 National Outstanding Mother. Graduated with a bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University in 1977. Family Panya is married to Aew Wasana Nirandkul and has four children and five grandchildren (the Workpoint TV channel number comes from his wife's birthday, which is the 23rd). The company and its subsidiaries do business in television production, film making, event management, animation, publishing, event marketing and recording. The company was founded in 1989 by Phanya Nirunkul and Prapas Cholsaranon, and went public on the Stock Exchange of Thailand in 2004. The company, which has been called "the No. 1 TV producer in Thailand" by the ''Hollywood Reporter'', has produced over eighty television programmes, with fifteen programmes broadcast weekly on free television in 2011.
