Friedbert Pflüger
Friedbert Pflüger (born 6 March 1955) is a former German politician of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). He was a Member of the German Bundestag (1990–2006). He was Secretary of State in the Federal Ministry of Defence (2005–2006), and the CDU's candidate for Governing Mayor of Berlin in the 2006 Berlin state election. He was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives (2006–2011) and a member of the executive board of the CDU (2000–2010). Today, he is a businessman and teaches Energy and Climate Security at the Center for Advanced Security, Strategic and Integration Studies (CASSIS), University of Bonn. Tobias Pflüger
Tobias Pflüger (born 1 February 1965) is a German politician of The Left serving as one of six deputy leaders of the party since 2014. From 2017 to 2021 he was a member of the Bundestag, and from 2004 to 2009 a member of the European Parliament. Life and career Pflüger's faster was a pastor and his mother a catechist. He grew up in Möglingen, Calw, and Nagold, where he graduated from the Otto-Hahn-Gymnasium in 1985. He then studied political science and empirical cultural studies at the University of Tübingen. Prof Eduard Friedrich Wilhelm Pflüger FRSFor HFRSE (; 7 June 1829 – 16 March 1910) was a 19th-century German physiologist. Life He was born in Hanau on 7 June 1829. After initially studying law at Berlin University, he transferred to study medicine, also doing further study at the University of Marburg, earning his doctorate in 1853. While in Berlin he worked as an assistant to Emil du Bois-Reymond (1818–1896). In 1859 he became a professor of physiology at the University of Bonn, where he remained for the rest of his career. Among his students in Bonn were physiologist Nathan Zuntz (1847–1920) and chemist Hugo Paul Friedrich Schulz (1853–1932). Pflüger made contributions in many aspects of physiology, including embryological physiology, respiratory physiology, sensory physiology and electrophysiology. Pflugerville ( ) is a city in Travis County, Texas, United States, with a small portion in Williamson County. The population was 65,191 at the 2020 census. Pflugerville is a suburb of Austin and part of the Austin–Round Rock–San Marcos Metropolitan Statistical Area. It was named after the original German settlers who farmed the area; means 'plowman'. August Lee Pfluger II ( ; born December 28, 1978) is an American politician and retired military officer from the state of Texas. He is the U.S. representative for .
