The Peugeot SR1 is a convertible, Hybrid electric vehicle, hybrid concept car by Peugeot. It was unveiled to the general public at the Geneva Motor Show#2010, Geneva Motor Show, in March 2010. Overview The SR1 concept incorporates HYbrid4 technology, which was launched in the Peugeot 3008 in 2011. Peugeot (, , ) is a French automobile brand owned by Stellantis. The family business that preceded the current Peugeot companies was established in 1810, making it the oldest car company in the world. Gilles Vidal (born ca. 1972) is a French car designer, appointed Director of Style by Peugeot in early-2010. He was responsible for the design direction of the 2010s decade at Peugeot. He is currently the design director at Renault, having joined the company in 2020. Biographical note Vidal received his diploma from the Art Center College of Design in Vevey, Switzerland and joined Citroën in 1996. Here he worked with Jean-Pierre Ploué and was responsible for the restyled Berlingo, the rally version of the Citroën Saxo, Saxo and the “Osmose” (Osmosis) concept car. The Geneva International Motor Show was an annual auto show held in March in the Swiss city of Geneva. The show was hosted at the Palexpo, a convention centre located next to the Geneva Cointrin International Airport. The Salon was organised by the Organisation Internationale des Constructeurs d'Automobiles, and was considered an important major international auto show. The Peugeot 3008 is a compact crossover SUV manufactured and marketed by Peugeot.
