Petros Giakoumakis
Petros Giakoumakis ( el, Πέτρος Γιακουμάκης; born 3 July 1992) is a Greek professional footballer who plays as a forward for Cypriot First Division club Olympiakos Nicosia, on loan from Lamia. Career Born in Crete, Giakoumakis began playing football for Olympiakos Chersonissos and started his professional career after moving to Atsalenios in 2011. During his last season with the club Petros Giakoumakis scored 19 goals in 25 appearances, however his contribution was not enough for Atsalenios to remain in the Football League 2 and were relegated to the Heraklion FCA championships for the first time in 18 years. His good performances with Atsalenios did not go unnoticed by a number of Superleague clubs, with Panionios and OFI showing interest in signing the young forward for the summer transfer period of 2014. 2021–22 Super League Greece 2
The 2021–22 Super League 2, known as Super League 2 betsson for sponsorship reasons, is the third season of the Super League 2, the second-tier Greek professional league for association football clubs, since the restructuring of the Greek football league system. The season started on 6 November 2021 and will finish in May 2022. The league will be conducted of 34 teams and two groups, this is due to the restructure and abolishment of the Football League. The league will also see the introduction of B Teams of Olympiacos, PAOK, AEK Athens and Panathinaikos. B Teams are ineligible for promotion. 2020–21 Super League Greece
The 2020–21 Super League Greece was the 85th season of the Super League Greece, the top Greek professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1959. Olympiacos were the defending champions. Teams Fourteen teams will compete in the league – the top twelve teams from the previous season, one team of play-off winner and one team promoted from the Super League 2. The promoted team was PAS Giannina who has returned to the first tier after a one-season absence. They replaced Panionios (relegated after 23 seasons in the top flight). The Super League Greece 1 ( el, Ελληνική Σούπερ Λιγκ 1), or Super League 1, is the highest professional association football league in Greece. The league was formed on 16 July 2006 and replaced ''Alpha Ethniki'' at the top of the Greek football league system. It consists of 14 teams and runs from August to May, with teams playing 26 games. As of May 2022, Super League Greece is ranked 15th in the UEFA ranking of leagues, based on performances in European competitions over the last five years.
