Petr Druzhinin
Petr A. Druzhinin () is a Russian–Israeli historian and author. He is a research fellow of the Tel Aviv University and Russian Language Institute, Russian Language Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, has published over two dozen books. Early life and education In 1996, he graduated from Stroganov Moscow State Academy of Arts and Industry with a degree in history of arts. In 2002, he graduated from the MIREA – Russian Technological University, Moscow Technological University. He earned his PhD in history in 2009 from Russian State University for the Humanities. Awards In 2014, Druzhinin was awarded the Efim Etkind Prize ''For outstanding contribution to scientific, cultural and literary relations between Russia and the West'' for his book Ideology and Philology volumes 1–2. Russian Language Institute
The V.V. Vinogradov Russian Language Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences () is the language regulator of the Russian language. It is based in Moscow and it is part of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It was founded in 1944 and is named after Viktor Vinogradov. In 1950 it was merged with the N.Ya.Marr Institute of Language and Mind and became the Institute of Linguistics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, but in 1958 it was re-established. Its activities include assessment of speech innovations in comparison to speech norms and codification of the language in Russian literature. Their output from these endeavors has included dictionaries, monographs, computer collections and databases, as well as a large historical Russian music library. Russian State University of Design and Applied Arts (Stroganov University) () informally named Stroganovka (Строгановка) is one of the oldest Russian schools for the industrial, monumental and decorative art and design.
