André Petersson
André Willy Petersson (born 11 September 1990) is a Swedish people, Swedish professional ice hockey player, who is currently playing under contract with HV71 of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). He was selected by the Ottawa Senators in the 4th round (109th overall) of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, and played for them for only one NHL game. Playing career Petersson won the Swedish junior championship and the regular Swedish championship with HV71 in 2009 and 2010, respectively. He has twice played in the IIHF World U20 Championship and won the silver medal in 2009 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships, 2009 and the bronze medal in 2010 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships, 2010. Alexander Petersson
Alexander Petersson (; born 2 July 1980) is a Latvian-born Icelandic former handball player. He was a member of the Icelandic national team from 2005 to 2021, appearing in 186 games. Before that he played for the Latvian national team. Alexander was voted the Icelandic Sportsperson of the Year in 2010 by the Icelandic Sport Press Association. Pär Johan Petersson (born 29 March 1973) is a Swedish handball player and handball coach. He won the 1999 World Championship and the European Championship four times with the Swedish national team. He also competed in the 1996 Summer Olympics and in the 2000 Summer Olympics, where Sweden won silver medals both times. Thomas John Peterson (born May 9, 1950), better known as Tom Petersson, is an American musician who is best known as the bass guitar player for the rock band Cheap Trick. Career Before joining Cheap Trick, Petersson played in a number of bands, including the Bol Weevils, the Grim Reapers, Sick Man of Europe, and Fuse (band), Fuse. He started his career playing electric guitar but soon switched to bass. His professional career remained closely entwined with Cheap Trick guitarist Rick Nielsen since the Grim Reapers in 1967, and the two co-founded Cheap Trick in 1974. Göran Krister Petersson (born 2 July 1942) is a Swedish lawyer, sailor and sports official. Born in Gothenburg, Petersson grew a sailing interest in his youth. A sailor in the 505 and Dragon classes, he has won a Swedish championship in 505. Petersson got his law degree (''jur. kand.'') from Lund University in 1967, and has been a lawyer since 1977. Axel Petersson
Axel Jacob Petersson (1834–15 January 1884) was a Swedish-Norwegian structural engineer and inventor. He is most noted for his work with railway bridges and viaducts in Norway from the 1860s through the 1870s, as well as developing the Krag–Petersson rifle. Biography Petersson was born in Öland in 1834. He studied at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm between 1852 and 1855. He worked for the Swedish Canal Administration and later for a private railway in Sweden. He moved to Norway in 1859, after he was hired as an assistant engineer for the construction of the Kongsvinger Line. By 1865 he was hired as the chief of the Railway Construction Office. He was responsible for construction of bridges and viaducts on the Østfold Line and the Dovre Line between Eidsvoll and Hamar. By 1881 Peterson had poor health and retired. Johan Petersson (born 10 February 1969) is a Swedish comedian, actor, television presenter and author. Petersson started his career in 1992 when presenting the ''Disneyklubben'', the Swedish version of the ''Disney Club'', which was broadcast on SVT, this along with Alice Bah Kuhnke and Eva Röse. Alfred Petersson
Per Alfred Petersson (as a parliamentarian referred to as Alfred Petersson i Påboda, i.e. "in Påboda", after his home farm, and often just "Påboda") (25 June 1860 – 11 October 1920) was a Swedish politician and minister for agriculture in several cabinets. Petersson was born into a well-to-do farmer's family in Söderåkra parish, Kalmar County, and took over the family farm Påboda in 1887. He was active in local and regional politics. In 1894 he both became a member of the Kalmar County Council and was elected member of the Second Chamber of the Swedish parliament.
