Peter Wong Tung-shun, JP (born November 1951, in British Hong Kong) is a Hong Kong banker associated with the HSBC, StanChart and Citi. He retired as CEO of HSBC Asia-Pacific and became non-executive chairman of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, effective 7 June 2021. He holds a BComm degree from the University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada, a master's degree in computer science and another master's degree in marketing and finance from Indiana University in the United States. He is one of the 124 members of Hong Kong's delegation to the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. Peter Wong (sports Commentator)
Peter Wong Hing Kwei (born 26 February 1944; ) is a Hong Kong sports commentator and former football manager. He is currently a director at Hong Kong Third Division club Tsuen Wan. Managerial career Wong has served as head coach at Eastern, South China and Tsuen Wan. In the 1982-83 season, South China under Wong were relegated to Second Division, for the first time in the club's history and only exempted from relegation upon request to the Hong Kong Football Association. Punditry Wong has also worked in ESPN in Singapore, and hosts a wide variety of Cantonese sports programmes, including football, basketball, baseball, American football, tennis and boxing. Peter Wong (Australian Politician)
Peter Hon Jung Wong () (born 12 October 1942) is a Chinese-born Australian politician. A figure in the Sydney Chinese community and former member of the Liberal Party of Australia, he became concerned over the Liberal Party's refusal to oppose strongly the rise of Pauline Hanson and her One Nation Party, and ultimately went on to found the Unity Party. He served as their leader from 1998 to 1999 and represented the party in the New South Wales Legislative Council from March 1999 until March 2007. Wong was made a Member of the Order of Australia in 1996. Early life Wong was born in China, but his Hakka family fled from that Communist Party-controlled country when he was eight. His family briefly settled in Borneo, where his father provided free medical care to the poor, but they later moved on to Sydney, Australia.
