Peter Wacks
Peter J. Wacks (born 1976) is an American author, actor and game developer. Some of his works include, ''Cyberpunk'', the graphic novel, ''Behind These Eyes'', and ''Caller of Lightning''. Career In 2003, Wacks acquired a game spin-off license from R. Talsorian Games for the Cyberpunk 2020 role-playing game, and created '' Cyberpunk: The Collectible Card Game''. He also worked on the franchise, ''Predator. As a writer, Wacks wrote "Cat's Paw", which was published in the anthology ''Of Fur and Fire: Tales of Cats & Dragons'' (2011). In 2012, he co-authored ''Behind These Eyes'', a graphic novel along Guy Anthony De Marco. In 2014, he wrote ''Second Paradigm'', a science fiction book, and co-wrote ''Solar Singularity'', which was selected as a finalist for the juried International Association of Media Tie-in Writers annual Scribe award for 2018. ''Cyberpunk: The Collectible Card Game'', also known as ''Cyberpunk, the CCG'' and ''Cyberpunk CCG'', is an out-of-print collectible card game designed by Peter J. Wacks, based on R. Talsorian Games' dystopian near-future role-playing game ''Cyberpunk 2020''. Publication history ''Cyberpunk CCG'' was designed by Peter J. Wacks, using the ''Cyberpunk 2020'' RPG setting licensed from R. Talsorian. Wacks claimed that "The CCG is built to play pretty much exactly like the RPG." The "2013 Edition" (set in the year 2013) was released in December 2003 as a limited edition. Two months later, in February, 2004, the "2020 Edition" (set in the year 2020) was released. Bryan Thomas Schmidt
Bryan Thomas Schmidt (born February 13, 1969) is an American science fiction author and editor. He has edited (or co-edited) twenty-two anthologies, and written a space opera trilogy, and an ongoing, near-future police procedural series set in Kansas City, Missouri, and a near future thriller novel being developed as a motion picture. He wrote a non-fiction book on how to write a novel. He was a finalist, with Jennifer Brozek, for the 2015 Hugo Award for Best Professional Editor for the anthology ''Shattered Shields''. His anthology ''Infinite Stars'' was nominated for the 2018 Locus Award for Best Anthology. Biography Schmidt was born on February 13, 1969, in Topeka, Kansas. His works sometime incorporate Christian themes. Cyberpunk 2020
''Cyberpunk'' is a tabletop role-playing game in the dystopian science fiction genre, written by Mike Pondsmith and first published by R. Talsorian Games in 1988. It is typically referred to by its second or fourth edition names, ''Cyberpunk 2020'' and ''Cyberpunk Red'', in order to distinguish it from the cyberpunk genre after which it is named. Setting ''Cyberpunk'' exists within its own fictional timeline, which splits from the real world in the 1980s. The timeline has been extended with each major edition of the game, from the first edition set in 2013 to ''Cyberpunk Red'' set in 2045. The backstory for ''Cyberpunk'' begins with the United States becoming embroiled in a major conflict in Central America in the 1980s.
