Peter Toh
Peter Toh (born September 21, 1981) is an American musician, songwriter, record producer and singer. From New York, he started writing and producing songs before he was in high school. He toured the US with The Stryder, releasing two albums on Equal Vision Records. He then went on to produce and release two solo EPs independently, titled ''Cleopatra'' and ''Shoes of A Beast''. Toh appeared on Lil Mama's '' Voice of the Young People'' (Familiar Faces/Jive) as an artist/writer/producer, with the song "Truly in Love", and was also a featured artist on Queens rapper Yak Ballz album, ''Scifentology II'', on the song "A Billion Ways". He is the co-founder of the internet video company Hidden Track TV, and in late 2009, Toh started a new band called Planes. Planes has recorded their debut album, ''Mountainside'', which was released on December 30, 2010. Roslyn, New York
Roslyn ( ) is a village in the Town of North Hempstead in Nassau County, on the North Shore of Long Island, in New York, United States. It is the Greater Roslyn area's anchor community. The population was 2,770 at the 2010 census. History Roslyn was initially settled by colonists in the year 1643. It was originally called Hempstead Harbor, but its name was changed to Roslyn in 1844 due to postal confusion regarding all the other "Hempsteads" scattered about Long Island. The name "Roslyn" was selected as the new name, as its location in a valley reminded officials of Roslin, Scotland. Roslyn was incorporated as a village on January 11, 1932. Its first Mayor was Albertson W. Hicks, who was unanimously elected two days later, on January 13. Alternative rock (also known as alternative music, alt-rock or simply alternative) is a category of rock music that evolved from the independent music underground of the 1970s. Yak Ballz, born Yashar Zadeh is an American independent hip hop artist, who was brought up in Flushing, Queens, New York. He is one of the original members of The Weathermen. He is also a member of Cardboard City. Since 2019 he has worked for Warner Bros. Records as Vice President of their Media & Strategic Development team. Early life and education Yak turned to writing as an outlet for expression and a form of therapy due to his mother being overprotective about their neighborhood in Queens at the time. At the age of 16 he entered the Braggin' Rites MC battle; he took second place and was the youngest person in the competition.
