Peter Shepherd (NASCAR Driver)
Peter Shepherd III (born August 13, 1986) is a Canadian professional stock car racing driver. He last competed part-time in the NASCAR Canada Series for Dave Jacombs Racing and in the APC Series in the #22 APC/Total car. Racing career Shepherd started in Kart racing, go-karts and moved on to the Thunder Car division at Flamboro Speedway. He progressed from there to Late Model running in the ALSTAR Series and then into Super Late Models with OSCAAR. Shepherd eventually worked his way into Canada's top series, CASCAR, running a season and a half, winning races as well as Rookie of the year. His prowess drew the attention of NASCAR owner Jack Roush, who invited him to ''Roush Racing: Driver X'', the audition that was held in 2005 in NASCAR, 2005 and televised on the Discovery Channel. Memphis International Raceway (formerly known as Memphis Motorsports Park) was an auto racing park located near the Loosahatchie River in Shelby County, Tennessee, United States, approximately ten miles south of Millington, and a few miles north of the city of Memphis. NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is a pickup truck racing series owned and operated by the NASCAR, National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR), and is the only series in NASCAR to race production pickup truck-based stock car racing, stock cars. The ARCA Menards Series is an American stock car racing, stock car series, the premier division of the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA).
