Peter Sharp (rugby League)
Peter Sharp (born 16 July 1954) is an Australian professional rugby league coach. He was most recently the interim coach of the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks in the National Rugby League. Coaching career Sharp has been the head coach of the Northern Eagles and Manly-Warringah from 1999 to 2003. He has also been an assistant coach at the Parramatta Eels, Newcastle Knights and the Melbourne Storm. Sharp signed with Hull F.C. in April 2006, on a two-and-a-half-year contract. He replaced sacked coach John Kear., Sharp left the club in 2008 by mutual consent after the club won only 4 of their opening 14 games of the season. In 2008 he switched to rugby union, joining Ulster as defence coach until September 2009. Sharp joined Cronulla-Sutherland as assistant coach after the end of the 2011 season. Ulster Rugby
Ulster Rugby is one of the four professional provincial rugby union teams from the island of Ireland. They compete in the Irish regional pool of the United Rugby Championship and in the European Rugby Champions Cup, each of which they have won once. Ulster were the first Irish team and the first team outside England and France to win the European Cup in 1999. Manly Warringah Sea Eagles
The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are an Australian professional rugby league club based in Sydney's Northern Beaches. They compete in the National Rugby League (NRL). The Manly club debuted in the 1947 New South Wales Rugby Football League season and currently hosts the majority of their home games at fortress Brookvale Oval in Brookvale, New South Wales, Brookvale. They train at the New South Wales Academy of Sport in Narrabeen and their Centre of Excellence in Brookvale. The team colours are maroon and white, and they are commonly known as ''Manly''. The club competed in the NSWRL, ARL, or NRL competitions in all respective seasons from 1947 until 1999. Des Hasler
Desmond John Hasler (born 16 February 1961) is an Australian professional rugby league coach who is the head coach of the Gold Coast Titans in the National Rugby League and a former player. Primarily a , he initially played for the Penrith Panthers, and then spent most of his playing career with the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles, with whom he won premierships in 1987 and 1996. Hasler spent a season with Hull FC in England, returning to Manly, before finishing his playing career with the Western Suburbs Magpies. He also played for City New South Wales rugby league team, NSW City, New South Wales in State of Origin and Australia national rugby league team, Australia at international level. Hasler coached Manly between 2004 and 2011, winning a further two premierships in 2008 and 2011. Bob Fulton
Robert Fulton (1 December 1947 – 23 May 2021), also nicknamed "Bozo", was an Australian rugby league footballer, coach and later commentator. Fulton played, coached, selected for and commentated on the game with great success at the highest levels and has been named amongst Australia's greatest rugby league players of the 20th century. As a player, Fulton won three premierships with the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles in the 1970s, the last as captain. He represented the Australia national team thirty-five times, seven as captain. He had a long coaching career at the first grade level, taking Manly to premiership victories in 1987 and 1996. He coached the Australia national team in thirty-nine Tests. James Shepherd (rugby League)
James Shepherd (born 10 July 1973) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer in the National Rugby League in Australia. In 2014, he served briefly as the head coach of the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks rugby league team following the resignation of Peter Sharp, who was filling in for the suspended Shane Flanagan. Shepherd later became an Assistant Coach at the St George Illawarra Dragons. Teaching career St Patricks High School at Sutherland Shepherd was a part of the college as a teacher of many subjects, primarily Personal Development, Health and Physical (PDHPE). Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks Supplements Saga
The Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks footy supplements saga was a sports controversy which began in 2011. The Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, a professional rugby league club playing in the National Rugby League (NRL). The NRL later offered all five players a one-year ban, backdated to an effective six-month suspension, if they pleaded guilty to taking a banned substance. Sports scientist Stephen Dank provided sworn testimony about what involvement he had at Cronulla and which Staff and coaches were involved. Dank publicly admitted to overseeing a regimen that involved the administration of two growth hormone-releasing peptides, CJC-1295 and GHRP-6. Dank has never faced criminal charges in relation to dealing in or administering the aforementioned peptides.
