WHFS was the call sign for three successive Frequency modulation, FM stations in the Washington, D.C., and Baltimore markets that broadcast on various frequencies for nearly 50 years. The first station in the area to broadcast in FM stereo, it was a long-time progressive rock (radio format), progressive rock station.
