Peter Reardon
Peter Reardon is an American recording artist, music producer and professional audio equipment manufacturer. Peter grew up in Houston, Texas, where he was heavily involved in the "punk" rock scene of the 1980s. Peter began his own musical career in the middle of the decade as the singer for the little-known band Crowd Control where he first explored song writing and developed his own stage presence. Peter was hired by the infamous Rap-a-Lot records and was an engineer and\or mixer on several Geto Boys records as well as a number of solo projects for individual band members. For his efforts at Rap-A-Lot, he earned his first gold record from the RIAA. Peter continued to work with Rap-A-Lot through the early 1990s until leaving for Los Angeles to pursue other recording opportunities. Rap-a-Lot
Rap-A-Lot is a hip hop record label co-founded by James Prince and Cliff Blodget in 1986. Smoke-a-Lot Records is a subsidiary. Rap-A-Lot was first distributed by A&M Records with the release of Raheem's 1988 debut ''The Vigilante''. The label was distributed through the 1990s by EMI's Priority Records (1991–1994), Noo Trybe Records (1994-1998), and Virgin Records (1998–2002). In the 2000s, it was distributed by Asylum Records and then Fontana Distribution. On August 22, 2013, Rap-A-Lot announced a distribution deal with RED Distribution. History The label was formed filling in a gap for recognition and promotion of southern talent especially in the Houston area. Clawfinger
Clawfinger is a Swedish rap metal band from Stockholm. The group is known for aggressive but melodic music and tackling political and anti-racist themes in their songs. History Origins: 1989–1991 The band's origin dates back to mid-1989, when Zak Tell and Jocke Skog met while working together at Rosenlund Hospital in Stockholm. In 1990, they were joined by the Norwegian guitarists Bård Torstensen and Erlend Ottem who were also working at the hospital. The four soon realized their similar interests in music. Bård and Erlend played previously in a band called Theo in their hometown Arendal in Norway. Gwendolyn Sanford is an American singer-songwriter and composer. She is best known for her performances with Gwendolyn and the Good Time Gang and for her contributions to the scores for '' Weeds'', ''Orange Is the New Black,'' and other films and plays. Biography Sanford was born in Philadelphia and raised in Sierra Madre, California. Sanford studied acting at the Los Angeles County School High School for the Arts. While in school, she learned to play guitar and at age 27, formed Gwendolyn and the Good Time Gang. The group was first noticed at a 2003 street fair in Los Feliz. Ben Vaughn is an American singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, composer for television and film, and syndicated radio show host. Biography Ben Vaughn grew up in the Philadelphia area on the New Jersey side of the river. South Jersey. At age 6, his uncle gave him a Duane Eddy record and forever changed his life. Chris Vrenna
Chris Vrenna (born February 23, 1967 in Erie, Pennsylvania) is an American musician, producer, engineer, remixer, songwriter, programmer, and founder of the electronic band Tweaker. Vrenna played drums for the industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails from 1989 until 1997, and was the keyboardist and drummer of the American rock band Marilyn Manson from 2004 until late 2011. As a member of Nine Inch Nails, Vrenna was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2020. Career Vrenna is a native of Erie, Pennsylvania. Zurdok was a Mexican rock band based in Monterrey. It was formed in 1993 under the name Zurdok Movimento, changing it several years later to simply Zurdok. It was one of the most important bands in the Mexican rock band scene at the end of the 1990s and the early 2000s. J'son (born Jason Tyrel Thomas; May 14, 1980) is an American R&B singer who was signed to Hollywood Records in the 1990s with three charting hits on the US Billboard Hot 100.
