Peter Nagy (singer)
Peter Nagy is a Slovak musician, singer, composer, songwriter, music producer and a photographer. He is one of the most successful singers of the Slovak pop music in the 1980s and the first half of the 1990s. In 1985 he won the Zlatý slávik (Golden Nightingale) award in the category of male singer. Biography Nagy started his musical career as a folk singer; first time he recorded a song in a studio as 17-years-old. His first song which gained massive popularity was ''Profesor Indigo'' (Professor Indigo), recorded in the studio of Slovak Radio in Košice in 1982; however, the song was released only in the following year. The character of Profesor Indigo in the musical clip was played by Andy Hryc. In 1984 he released his debut album ''Chráň svoje bláznovstvá'' (Preserve your crazy ways), of which 620 thousand copies was sold. After the release of his third album ''Myslíš na to, na čo ja?'' Prešov
Prešov (, hu, Eperjes, Rusyn language, Rusyn and Ukrainian language, Ukrainian: Пряшів) is a city in Eastern Slovakia. It is the seat of administrative Prešov Region ( sk, Prešovský kraj) and Šariš, as well as the historic Sáros County of the Kingdom of Hungary. With a population of approximately 90,000 for the city, and in total about 110,000 with the metropolitan area, it is the third-largest city in Slovakia. Vašo Patejdl (born Václav Patejdl; 10 October 1954 – 19 August 2023) was a Slovak musician and composer. He was best known for being a co-founder and long-term member of the pop-rock band Elán. He wrote songs for other musicians, including the Richard Müller single "Po schodoch", and he composed music for films, such as '' Fontána pre Zuzanu'' (1985) and ''The Seven Ravens'' (2015). Patejdl also released a number of solo albums throughout his career, both in Slovak and English. He died on 19 August 2023, at the age of 68.
