Peter Jöback
Peter Arne Jöback (born 4 June 1971 in Stockholm, Sweden) is a Swedish singer, actor and musical artist. Biography Early life and education Peter Jöback was born on 4 June 1971 in Stockholm. He spent his childhood in Värmland and Östergötland. As a student Jöback attended the Adolf Fredrik's Music School in Stockholm. 1995–2000 Peter Jöback got his big break through his collaboration with ABBA's Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson. In their musical ''Kristina från Duvemåla'' (''The Emigrants'') at Malmö Opera and Music Theatre, Jöback created the role of Robert, whose theme song ("Guldet blev till sand") broke every record in the Swedish charts. The musical was seen by over one million Swedes, and the original cast CD-box became a triple-platinum album and received several Swedish Grammy awards. Ali Ewoldt (born October 6, 1982) is a Filipino-American theatre actress, who made her Broadway debut in the ''Les Misérables'' revival in 2006, playing Cosette. She has also performed on national and international tours and in U.S. regional theatre. She became well known as the first Asian-American actress to star as Christine Daaé in ''The Phantom of the Opera'' on Broadway. Life and career Ewoldt was born in Chicago to a Filipina mother and a Euro-American father and raised in Pleasantville, New York. ''The Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Albert Hall'' is a 2011 British concert film adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber's 1986 musical '' The Phantom of the Opera'', which in turn was based on the 1910 French novel '' Le Fantôme de l'Opéra'' by Gaston Leroux. The Eurovision Song Contest 2010 was the 55th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. Melodifestivalen 2010 was a Swedish song contest held between February and March 2010. It was the selection for the 50th song to represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest, and was the 49th edition of Melodifestivalen. Five heats were held in the Swedish cities of Örnsköldsvik, Sandviken, Gothenburg and Malmö, with Örebro hosting the final ''Andra Chansen'' (Second Chance) round. After the five heats 10 songs had qualified to the final of the contest, contested in the Swedish capital of Stockholm, at the Globe Arena. After the voting of 11 juries and a public televote had been revealed, the final winner was Anna Bergendahl with the pop ballad "This Is My Life", which received top marks from the public televote, and placing 2nd after the votes of the 11 juries. The B52's
The B-52's, also styled as The B-52s, are an American new wave band formed in Athens, Georgia, in 1976. The original lineup consisted of Fred Schneider (vocals, percussion), Kate Pierson (vocals, keyboards, synth bass), Cindy Wilson (vocals, percussion), Ricky Wilson (guitar), and Keith Strickland (drums, guitar, keyboards). Ricky Wilson died of AIDS-related illness in 1985, and Strickland switched from drums to lead guitar. The band also added various members for albums and live performances. The group evoked a "thrift shop aesthetic", in Bernard Gendron's words, by drawing from 1950s and 1960s pop sources, trash culture, and rock and roll.
