Peter Julian
Peter S. Julian (born April 16, 1962) is a Canadian politician who was a Member of Parliament for the New Democratic Party (NDP) from 2004 to 2025. He represented the ridings of Burnaby—New Westminster from 2004 to 2015 and New Westminster—Burnaby from 2015 to 2025. He also served as the house leader for the NDP for much of his political career. He was defeated in the 2025 Canadian federal election. Personal life Julian was born on April 16, 1962, in New Westminster, British Columbia, to Terry and Ruth Julian. His father Terry was a school administrator, historian and author, and a 2002 recipient of the Queen's Jubilee Medal. He has a sister, Randi, and a brother, Patrick. New Westminster Secondary School (NWSS) is a secondary school in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada. It is one of the largest high schools in British Columbia. It includes grades 9 through 12. Guy Caron
Guy Caron (born May 13, 1968) is a Canadian politician, who was elected the mayor of Rimouski, Quebec in the 2021 Quebec municipal elections. He was previously a member of the House of Commons of Canada from 2011 to 2019, and served as the federal House leader of the New Democratic Party from 2017 to 2019, substituting for party leader Jagmeet Singh who during this time did not hold a seat. Marc Garneau
Joseph Jean-Pierre Marc Garneau (; February 23, 1949 – June 4, 2025) was a Canadian Armed Forces officer, astronaut, and politician. Garneau served as a naval officer before being selected as an astronaut as part of the 1983 NRC Group.
