Piero "Pete" Harris (April 7, 1957 – August 9, 2006) was an American football player. Biography One of nine children, Harris grew up in Mount Holly, New Jersey, and played high school football at Rancocas Valley Regional High School. Peter G. Harris (born 23 August 1962) is a Welsh former professional boxer. Harris became Wales featherweight Champion and in 1986 after defeating Kelvin Smart. He briefly held the British featherweight title in 1988 by defeating Kevin Taylor before winning the Welsh title for a second time in 1994. His last professional bout was in 1996. Career Harris began his professional career in February 1983, suffering a defeat via a points decision to Dave Pratt. He drew a bout with Jim Harvey before winning his first professional fight in his third bout, defeating Brett Styles on points. In 1986, Harris won the Welsh flyweight title after defeating Kelvin Smart on points. Three further victories resulted in Harris receiving a title fight against Kevin Taylor for the vacant British featherweight championship. Peter Harris (born March 1934) is a British businessman. He is best known for founding Bourne Leisure in 1964 and the owner of Butlins from September 2022. Career In 1964, Harris co-founded Bourne Leisure, a holiday and leisure company which owns Haven Holidays and Warner Leisure Hotels, after he audited a caravan park in his former role as an accountant. His co-founder was David Allen. In 1977, he began to buy land at Tring in Hertfordshire, where he trained racehorses until 2004. For the next seven years, the training licence was held by his son-in-law Walter Swinburn. Following his retirement as a trainer, Harris remained a significant owner of the yard. Swinburn relinquished his licence at the end of October 2011 for "commercial reasons". The estate was put on the market by Harris shortly after Swinburn's retirement. Madden and Harris were an Australian folk music duo, formed in 1972 by multi-instrumentalist, Peter Harris and his former student, David Madden. They released an album, ''Fool's Paradise'' (May 1975), and a single, "Remember Me" (1974), before disbanding later in 1975. Harris issued a solo album, ''Ruby'', via Ritz Grammaphone/Festival, also in 1975. Peter Harris was the name of two buccaneers, an uncle and his nephew, who were active (separately) in the late 17th century. Peter Harris (the elder) Peter Harris (died May 1680) was an English buccaneer. As early as 1671 Harris was part of Henry Morgan's flotilla which sacked Panama. By 1677 he had received a privateering commission to legitimize his activities. After capturing a powerful 28-gun Dutch vessel in late 1679, he played a significant role in the Pacific Adventure, a privateering expedition led by Richard Sawkins and John Coxon. Harris served as one of the captains during this expedition, alongside Bartholomew Sharp and Edmund Cooke. Peter Harris (born 1961), popularly known as Blu Peter, is a British electronic dance music producer and disc jockey from South Wales, who pioneered the nu-NRG music genre in the late 1990s. In the early 1990s, he served as resident DJ at major London nightclubs Heaven and Turnmills. He has performed at raves and nightclubs around the world. After establishing his DJ career, Harris began producing original music as Blu Peter. He released dozens of 12-inch singles, CD singles, and remixes, many through React Music Limited of London.
