Peter Ellis is a British Elite and Age Group duathlete from The New Forest, England. Competing at Elite level he is a four time Powerman Duathlon World Series race winner with wins in Gothenburg (Sweden 2015), Michigan (USA 2018 and 2019) and Hawaii (USA 2019), securing further podium finishes in Putrajaya (Malaysia 2017), Panama City (Panama 2018) and Arizona (USA 2020). He finished the 2016 Powerman Duathlon World Series in 29th, 2017 in 7th, 2018 in 11th and 2019 in 2nd reaching a Powerman Duathlon World ranking of 2nd in June 2019 and World Triathlon long distance Duathlon ranking of 2nd in September 2019. The Powerman Zofingen is a duathlon event in Zofingen ( Switzerland) within the Powerman Duathlon World Series. On September 3, 2017, the world championships in the long distance was held for the tenth time in Zofingen, canton Argovia. The official name is '' ITU Powerman Long Distance Duathlon World Championships.'' A duathlon consists of a running distance, a cycling lane and then again a running distance, which are carried out directly behind each other. Tipton Harriers
{{Use dmy dates, date=April 2022 Tipton Harriers were created in September 1910, when the members of the Tipton branch of Birchfield Harriers resolved to end their connection and become independent. Soon, over 40 members were meeting and training regularly from a former painters' workshop and store in a loft behind a shop and houses in Waterloo Street. These primitive facilities, sparsely furnished, using two 18 feet square, 8 inches deep beer cooling vats as baths with water heated in an old copper washing boiler, remained the club H.Q. until 1936. The house where the formation took place was demolished in the 1960s. Much of this happened despite serious bomb damage during the Zeppelin raids in 1916 and the obstruction of the non-improving landlady.
