Pete Dominguez is an American professional basketball coach who is an assistant coach for the Milwaukee Bucks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Coaching career Dominguez began his NBA coaching career in 2018 as a video coordinator for the Los Angeles Clippers under head coach Doc Rivers. In 2020, Dominguez joined the Philadelphia 76ers as a coaching associate, reuniting with head coach Doc Rivers. In 2023, Dominguez was briefly the head coach of Obras Sanitarias of the Argentine National Basketball League, before leaving to join the Bucks of the NBA. In 2024, the Milwaukee Bucks named Dominguez as an assistant coach under head coach Doc Rivers. The NBA Cup is an annual National Basketball Association (NBA) tournament that occurs during the regular season. The tournament was officially announced on July 8, 2023, and it debuted during the 2023–24 NBA season. The first edition of the event was called the In-Season Tournament. Glenn Anton "Doc" Rivers (born October 13, 1961) is an American professional basketball coach and former player who is the head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). An NBA player for 14 seasons, he was an NBA All-Star and was named one of the 15 Greatest Coaches in NBA History. Rivers played college basketball for the Marquette Golden Eagles men's basketball, Marquette Golden Eagles and was selected by the Atlanta Hawks in the second round of the 1983 NBA draft.
