Petar Kostadinov
Petar Kostadinov (; born 1 April 1978) is a former Bulgarian footballer who played as a midfielder. Playing style Kostadinov possesses a rare combination of exceptional physical strength as well as outstanding endurance. He is a hardy defender in midfield. His hard work during play, although usually unspectacular, has made him the kingpin in all the teams he has played for. Career Born in Dimitrovgrad Kostadinov began played football in local team FC Dimitrovgrad. On 21-years old signed with Chernomorets Burgas and made his debut in A PFG - The Bulgarian first football division. He signed a 3-year deal with Cherno More Varna after being released from Chernomorets in 2003. He has been given the No.18 shirt. The Bulgarian Cup () is a Bulgarian annual football competition. It is the country's main cup competition and all officially registered Bulgarian football teams take part in it. The tournament's format is ''single-elimination'', with all matches being one-legged, except the semi-finals. The competition's winner gets the right to take part in the UEFA Europa League. If the winner has already secured a place through the Bulgarian A Professional Football Group, the team that has come ''fourth'' in the championship substitutes it. The competition has been dominated by Sofia-based clubs. They have won together a total number of 65 titles. The three most successful clubs are Levski Sofia (26 cups), CSKA Sofia (21 cups) and Slavia Sofia (8 cups). The current cup holders are Ludogorets Razgrad, who beat CSKA Sofia 1–0 in the 2025 final. The 2009–10 Bulgarian Cup was the 28th official season of the Bulgarian annual football knockout tournament. The competition began on September 16, 2009 with the matches of the preliminary round and ended with the final on May 5, 2010. Litex Lovech are the defending champions. Beroe won the competition, beating Chernomorets Pomorie in the finals at Gradski. As such, they qualified for the third qualifying round of the 2010–11 UEFA Europa League. The 2007–08 Bulgarian Cup was the 26th official edition of the Bulgarian annual football tournament. The final match between PFC Litex Lovech and PFC Cherno More Varna was held on 14 May 2008 at Vasil Levski National Stadium in Sofia.
