Four Horsemen Of The Apocalypse
The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are figures in the Book of Revelation in the New Testament of the Bible, a piece of apocalypse literature attributed to John of Patmos, and generally regarded as dating from about AD 95. Similar allusions are contained in the Old Testament books of Ezekiel and Zechariah, written about six centuries prior. Though the text only provides a name for the fourth horseman, subsequent commentary often identifies them as personifications of Conquest ( Zelos/ Zelus), War (Ares/Mars), Famine ( Limos/ Fames), and Death ( Thanatos/ Mors or Moros/ Fatum). Revelation 6 tells of a book or scroll in God's right hand that is sealed with seven seals. Pestilence (band)
Pestilence is a Dutch death metal band founded in Enschede in 1986. They have been through various membership changes throughout their existence, with guitarist-vocalist Patrick Mameli as the sole constant member. After disbanding in order to pursue other musical directions in 1994, Pestilence reunited in 2008, and was put on a "permanent hold" in July 2014. However, the band reunited once again in October 2016. To date, Pestilence has released ten studio albums, and they are one of technical death metal's "big four", along with Death (metal band), Death, Atheist (band), Atheist, and Cynic (band), Cynic. History Early career (1986–1990) Pestilence started in the Netherlands in mid-1986 as a thrash metal band. Karen Page Pagon Paibok Doctor Paine Dr. Thaddeus Paine is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character, created by Len Kaminski, first appeared in ''Morbius the Living Vampire'' #4 (December 1994). He is a sadist who was unable to feel pain and has prosthesic hands equipped with surgical tools. Doctor Paine is a silent partner of Dr. David Langford which got threatened, resulting in the deaths of Martine Bancroft and his business partner. Doctor Paine then experiments on Morbius the Living Vampire much like his inhumane medical experiments on the homeless, resulting in the Living Vampire vengefully destroying his facility while the Doctor escaped.
