''Pesarattu'' is a 2015 Telugu language film directed by Mahesh Kathi. Production This is the first-ever crowd-funded, crowd-sourced cooperative film in Telugu. Twelve producers contributed to the making of this film. Plot Bhavana (Nikitha Narayan) is ready to get engaged but faces some confusion. When the day of betrothal arrives her family cannot find her. The groom Yuvaraj ( Nandu) arrives and the family finally locates her. Kathi Mahesh Kumar (1977/8 – 10 July 2021) was an Indian film critic and actor working in Telugu cinema. He appeared on the Telugu reality TV show ''Bigg Boss''. Personal life Kathi Mahesh Kumar hailed from Yellamanda, a village in Chittoor district in Andhra Pradesh. He was born into a dalit family and belongs to Madiga community. He studied at AP Residential School at Gyarampalle near Piler. He studied MA Communication at Hyderabad Central University during 1998–2000. Mahesh was a vocal supporter of Y. S. Nandu is an Indian actor who works in predominantly Telugu-language films. He debuted with ''Photo'' (2006) and is known for his role in '' 100% Love'' (2011). Career Nandu made his lead debut with the thriller film ''Photo'' (2006) starring Muktha and Anjali under the stage name of Anand.
