Pervouralsk (russian: Первоура́льск, lit. ''the first in the Urals'') is a city in Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia, located on the Chusovaya River (Kama's tributary) west of Yekaterinburg, the administrative center of the oblast. Sverdlovsk Oblast ( rus, Свердловская область, Sverdlovskaya oblast) is a federal subject (an oblast) of Russia located in the Ural Federal District. Its administrative center is the city of Yekaterinburg, formerly known as Sverdlovsk. Its population is 4,297,747 (according to the 2010 Census). Geography Most of the oblast is spread over the eastern slopes of the Middle and North Urals and the Western Siberian Plain. Igor Alekseyevich Malkov (russian: И́горь Алексе́евич Малко́в) (born 9 February 1965 in Pervouralsk, Russian SFSR) is a former speedskater. Igor Malkov trained at VSS Trud in Sverdlovsk. Skating for the USSR, he became Olympic 10,000 m Champion at the 1984 Olympic Games in Sarajevo, only 0.05 seconds ahead of Tomas Gustafson, becoming the youngest male Olympic champion in the history of Olympic speed skating at an age of 19 years and 9 days. The Russian Bandy Super League (russian: Чемпионат России по хоккею с мячом — Суперлига), is a men's professional bandy league in Russia, the top division of Russian bandy. There is no definite rule which teams will be relegated or promoted. Besides results on the ice, financial resources and infrastructure also play a part in the decisions. Uralsky Trubnik Bandy Club
Uralsky Trubnik (russian: Уральский трубник) is a bandy club from Pervouralsk that plays in the Russian Bandy Super League. After the indoor stadium Volga-Sport-Arena in Ulyanovsk#Sports, Ulyanovsk was finished, Uralsky Trubnik was for a few years the only club in the highest division without artificial ice. That is until Murman Murmansk, Murman got promoted for the 2018-19 season. However, a decision to build an indoor bandy stadium has been taken.
