Persuader (comics)
Persuader is the name of three unrelated supervillains appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. The first, Nyeun Chun Ti, is a 31st-century criminal, founding member of the Fatal Five, and enemy of the Legion of Super-Heroes. The second and third are Cole Parker and Elise Kimble, contemporary humans who are respectively members of the Suicide Squad and Terror Titans. The Nyeun Chun Ti incarnation of Persuader has appeared in various media adaptations featuring the Legion of Super-Heroes. He is voiced by David Sobolov in '' Legion of Super Heroes'' (2006) and portrayed by Frasier Aitcheson in ''Smallville''. Persuader (band)
Persuader is a Swedish power metal band from Umeå in the Swedish province of Västerbotten Norrland. The band was formed in 1997, and they have since released five full-length albums. They have a sound similar to bands including early Blind Guardian, Iron Savior, and Nocturnal Rites, although Persuader includes influences of thrash metal also. Members Jens and Emil joined the band Savage Circus in 2005, started by Thomen Stauch before leaving Blind Guardian. The band's most recent studio album, ''Necromancy'', was released in 2020. ''Persuader'' is the seventh book in the Jack Reacher series written by Lee Child. It is written in the first person. This book was the basis for season three of the '' Reacher TV series''. Plot Jack Reacher is working unofficially with the Drug Enforcement Administration to bring down a boy's father, Zachary Beck, who is suspected of smuggling drugs under the pretext of trading in oriental carpets using his company Bizarre Bazaar as a front.
