Personal Classic
The Argentina Classic is a men's professional golf tournament held in Argentina and has been part of the PGA Tour Latinoamérica schedule since 2012. The tournament was first played on PGA Tour Latinoamérica in December 2012 as the "Olivos Golf Classic-Copa Personal" and was held at Olivos Golf Club. The inaugural winner of the event was Ariel Cañete. In the 2013 season the event moved to La Reserva Cardales and following a sponsorship deal with the telecommunications company BlackBerry the tournament was renamed as the "Personal Classic presentado por BlackBerry". From 2014 to 2017, the event was played at C.C.G. Las Praderas de Lujan in Luján, Buenos Aires. Neuquén
Neuquén (; ) is the capital city of the Argentine province of Neuquén and of the Confluencia Department, located in the east of the province. It occupies a strip of land west of the confluence of the Limay and Neuquén rivers which form the Río Negro, making it part of the ecoregion of Alto Valle del Río Negro. The city and surrounding area have a population of more than 340,000, making it the largest city in Patagonia. Along with the cities of Plottier and Cipolletti, it is part of the Neuquén – Plottier – Cipolletti conurbation. Founded in 1904, it is the newest provincial capital city in Argentina. Augusto Núñez
Augusto Martín Núñez (born 3 November 1992) is a professional golfer from Argentina. He is a member of the Korn Ferry Tour and previously played on the PGA Tour Latinoamérica. Career Núñez won his first tournament on the PGA Tour Latinoamérica during the 2016 season at the Flor de Caña Open. He beat Emilio Puma Domínguez and Eric Steger in a playoff after finishing at 25 under par. The win put Núñez in first place in the Order or Merit for that season. Núñez finished the 2016 PGA Tour Latinoamérica season in second place in the Order of Merit, earning him a place in the Web.com Tour for the 2017 season. His best performance was runner-up in the Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship, one stroke behind the winner. Derek Gillespie
Derek Gillespie (born 6 July 1978) is a Canadian professional golfer who has played on the Canadian Tour, where he has won twice and the Web.com Tour. Early life Gillespie was born in Oshawa, Ontario. He was a heralded junior golfer in Canada, playing in the 1995 and 1996 Canadian Junior National Teams and was named the top Canadian golfer for those two years. He attended the University of Arizona and was the only freshman to play in every tournament. His teammates included Rory Sabbatini and Camilo Villegas' caddie Gary Mathwes. He was named to the Pac-10 Conference Team twice and inducted into the University of Arizona Golf Hall of Fame in 2000. He turned professional later that year during the week of the Bell Canadian Open. Professional career Gillespie started playing events on the Canadian Tour in 2002 but did not find immediate success. Clodomiro Carranza Mujica (born 26 April 1982) is an Argentinian professional golfer who has played predominantly on the European Tour, Web.com Tour, Tour de las Américas and various other worldwide tours. Professional career Carranza turned professional in 2002 and played much of his early career on the Argentine national professional golf tour. His first professional win came at the 2005 Acantilados Grand Prix on the PGA of Argentina Tour. In 2005 Carranza became a member of the Tour de las Américas and achieved his first win on the tour at the 2008 Carlos Franco Invitational.
