''Personal Business'' is the second solo studio album by American rapper Bad Azz from Long Beach, California. It was released on July 17, 2001 via Doggystyle Records and Priority Records. It features guest appearances from Blaqthoven, Busta Rhymes, Butch Cassidy, Doggy's Angels, Goldie Loc, Ice Cube, Jelly Roll, Kokane, LaToiya Williams, Lil' Beau, Lil' ½ Dead, Lil' Tip Toe, Mac Minister, Ras Kass, RBX, Salim Grant, Suga Free, Sylk-E. Fyne, Tha Dogg Pound and Val Young. The album peaked at #59 on the ''Billboard'' 200 and #16 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts in the United States. Bad Azz (rapper)
Jamarr Antonio Stamps (November 27, 1975 – November 11, 2019), better known by his stage name Bad Azz, was an American rapper and member of hip-hop collective D.P.G.C. Life and career Jamarr Antonio Stamps was born in Hawaiian Gardens, California, and grew up in Long Beach. He began his career rapping at house parties and joined the LBC Crew. After having a guest verse on the Tupac song "Krazy" in 1996 he was set to sign to Tupac's proposed record label, Makaveli Records. After being briefly signed to Snoop Dogg's label Doggystyle Records, Bad Azz made various guest performances before debuting on Priority Records in 1998 with '' Word on tha Streets''. Tha Dogg Pound is an American hip-hop duo composed of West Coast rappers Kurupt and Daz Dillinger. They were among the first acts to sign to Death Row Records in 1992. Kurupt and Daz went on to release solo albums starting in 1998; they left the crumbling Death Row Records following year. Daz left due to long-lasting internal struggles on the label after friend and labelmate Tupac Shakur's Murder of Tupac Shakur, murder in 1996. Kurupt started Antra Records, while Daz and Soopafly started D.P.G. Recordz. In 2002, a feud arose between the two when Kurupt decided to sign back with Death Row Records, upsetting everyone involved with the group. Tha Eastsidaz is a hip hop duo consisting of Tray Deee and Goldie Loc put together by Snoop Dogg, who often featured on their songs. Their first appearance was on Tommy Boy Records ''Ride'' soundtrack with Crooked Eye Q on a Battlecat-produced song called "Feels So Good" in 1997. History Emergence (1997–2003) The band originates from Long Beach, California. In 1997, after Snoop Dogg left Death Row records, he formed 'The Eastsiders' with Crooked I, Techniec, and Lil' C-Style. They released one song commercially 'Feels So Good' on the soundtrack for the 1998 film Ride.
