''Persona'' () is a South Korean anthology television series starring Lee Ji-eun. It contains separate stories each directed by a different director. The first season was released on April 11, 2019. Anthology Series
An anthology series is a written series, radio, television, film, or video game series that presents a different story and a different set of characters in each different episode, season, segment, or short. These usually have a different cast in each episode, but several series in the past, such as '' Four Star Playhouse'', employed a permanent troupe of character actors who would appear in a different drama each week. Shim Dal-gi
Shim Dal-gi (; born on 12 June 1999) is a South Korean actress. She made her acting debut in 2018 and since then she has appeared in a number of films and television series. She is most well known for her role in the film ''Snowball'' (2020) and Kakao TV's original ''Shadow Beauty'' (2021). She also appeared in the Netflix original series ''The School Nurse Files'' (2020) and ''Juvenile Justice'' (2022). In 2022 she appeared in the omnibus TV series ''Our Blues''. Career Shim made her debut as a director at the age of 18 in the film ''Nobody's Subconscious and Realm'', released in 2016. Shim Dal-gi made her acting debut in 2018 in the TV series '' Feel Good to Die'', and short film ''Dong-a'' for which she was awarded the Jury's Special Award for the Actor at Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival. Sulli
Choi Jin-ri (; March 29, 1994 – October 13 or 14, 2019), known professionally as Sulli (), was a South Korean singer and actress. She first made her debut as a child actress, appearing as a supporting cast member on the Seoul Broadcasting System, SBS historical drama ''Ballad of Seodong'' (2005). Busan International Film Festival
The Busan International Film Festival (BIFF; ), formerly the Pusan International Film Festival (PIFF), held annually in Haeundae District, Busan, South Korea, is one of the most significant film festivals in Asia. The first festival, held from 13 to 21 September 1996, was also the first international film festival in Korea. The main focus of the BIFF is to introduce new films and first-time directors, especially those from Asian countries. Gangwon Province Fire
The 2019 Goseong fire was a fire in Goseong County, South Korea that lasted from 4 April to 6 April, 2019. It spread to the cities of Sokcho, Inje, Donghae and Gangneung and caused two deaths, more than 30 injuries, and the evacuation of more than 4,000 residents. The cause of the fire was an extra high-voltage wire owned by KEPCO that fell due to high winds which led to an electric arc. On April 20, 2023 KEPCO was found to be liable for the fire and ordered to pay $6.6 million (USD) to evacuees. In January 2023, seven current and former KEPCO employees were acquitted of charges related to safety failures. The fire damaged more than 200 homes and more than 2,000 buildings causing estimated damages of $4.6 million (USD). More than 13,000 firefighters were mobilized from other parts of the country to fight the fire.
