Person L
Person L was an American rock music, rock band fronted by Kenny Vasoli, of the pop punk band The Starting Line. Vasoli formed Person L in the winter of 2006 as an outlet to explore other musical styles. The group also consisted of drummers Brian Medlin and Ryan Zimmaro (previously of the band The Prize Fight), bassist Charles Schneider (previously of the band The Suicide Pact) and keyboardist and guitarist Nate Vaeth. History Person L was founded by the Starting Line vocalist/bassist Kenny Vasoli in winter 2006. Vasoli then brought members of the Minor Times, Inkling, the Prize Fight and the Suicide Pact into the group. The band performed their first show on December 22 in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. Person L released a split single with Weatherbox in May 2008. He initially wrote the song, "Storms", while on the road with The Starting Line. The Bowery Ballroom is a New York City live music venue located at 6 Delancey Street in Manhattan's Bowery neighborhood. Circa Survive was an American rock music, rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, that formed in 2004. Founded by singer Anthony Green (musician), Anthony Green and guitarist Colin Frangicetto, the band consisted of former members from This Day Forward and Taken. PureVolume
PureVolume (formerly Unborn Media) was a website for uploading and streaming of music files, the first independently run of its type. PureVolume was created by Unborn Media, Inc; Mitchell Pavao; Brett Woitunski; and Nate Hudson, all from the University of Massachusetts. PureVolume is a website for the discovery and promotion of new music and emerging artists. The mission was to give artists a new promotion tool. Each artist had a profile that typically contains basic info, updates, photos, shows and music for streaming. Artists had the option of making each of their songs available for free download. Listeners and fans were also able to create profiles to interact with artists and each other, as well as track and share music they liked. ''The Positives'' is the second and final full-length studio album by American rock band Person L, released through Academy Fight Song on November 17, 2009. Background and production On January 24, 2008, "I Sing the Body Electric" was posted on the group's Myspace profile, followed by "Goodness Gracious" on February 4. In February 2009, it was revealed that the band's next album would be released later in the year. ''The Positives'' was produced and engineered by Aaron Marsh, with recording starting on February 10. On March 2, frontman Kenny Vasoli posted an update from the studio: "I have four more songs to sing, ndthere are a few guitars left to track along with some general what-have-yous." Vacationer is an American electropop and dream pop band based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. It is composed of Kenny Vasoli (lead singer/bass), Ryan Zimmaro (drums), Michael Mullin (keyboards/backing vocals), Greg Altman (guitar/backing vocals). Song writing is done primarily by Kenny Vasoli. History Vasoli expressed interest to Matt Watts, his manager and friend, about doing an electronic project after being inspired by LCD Soundsystem and other acts at the 2010 Bonnaroo Festival in Manchester, Tennessee. Manchester Orchestra is an American indie rock band from Atlanta, Georgia, that formed in 2004. The group's current line-up is composed of lead singer, songwriter and rhythm guitarist Andy Hull, lead guitarist Robert McDowell, bassist Andy Prince and drummer Tim Very. John Thomas Nolan (born February 24, 1978) is an American musician best known as the guitarist and co-lead vocalist of Taking Back Sunday, and the former lead singer, pianist, and guitarist of Straylight Run. Nolan left Taking Back Sunday in 2003 along with bassist Shaun Cooper, with whom he formed Straylight Run. I Can Make a Mess, formerly I Can Make a Mess Like Nobody's Business, is an American acoustic/alternative rock band, the side project of Ace Enders, lead singer and guitarist of the Early November. History Self-titled album (2004) Though the self-titled album was originally the only planned official release under the name I Can Make a Mess Like Nobody's Business, time would prove otherwise. The project spawned from Enders' desire to make music different from the Early November. Copeland is an American rock band formed in 2001 by the singer, pianist Aaron Marsh (who also plays guitar) with his friend, the bass guitarist and backing vocalist James Likeness, in Lakeland, Florida. Arthur Carl "Ace" Enders III (born April 19, 1982) is an American musician who is the lead singer and guitarist of the band The Early November. He is also the lead musician, songwriter and co-producer in his band I Can Make a Mess Like Nobody's Business. He has also released music under the name Ace Enders and a Million Different People.
