(), usually abbreviated to Perodua (), is Malaysia's largest car manufacturer, followed by Proton Holdings. Background and history Perodua was established in 1993 and launched its first 5-door hatchback, the Perodua Kancil, in August 1994. Rawang is a town and a mukim in Gombak District, Selangor, Malaysia, about 23 km northwest of city centre Kuala Lumpur. History Early history Rawang was founded in the early 19th century and was one of Kuala Lumpur earliest satellite towns. The Proton Iriz is a supermini (B-segment) produced by Malaysian automobile manufacturer Proton (automobile), Proton since 2014. It was unveiled on 25 September 2014 at Proton City by Malaysia’s fourth and seventh prime minister, Dr. Mahathir Mohamad. The Toyota Avanza and Daihatsu Xenia are a series of multi-purpose vehicles (MPV) developed by Daihatsu and marketed by both Toyota and Daihatsu, mainly sold with three-row seating.
