William Perkins House
The William Perkins House, now known as the Freemount, is a historic Greek Revival style house in Eutaw, Alabama, United States. The house is a two-story wood-framed building on a raised brick foundation. Four monumental Ionic columns span the front portico. It was built in 1850 by William Perkins on the Eutaw Town Square. According to the 1850 U. S. Federal Census Slave Schedule, William Perkins' household in Greene County included eleven enslaved people, four women and seven men. Their ages ranged from 2–45 years old, and Mr. Perkins is listed as the slave owner.1850 Federal Census Slave Schedule, Greene County, Alabama The house was recorded by the Historic American Buildings Survey in 1934. Perkins Estate
The Perkins Estate is a historic estate at 450 Warren Street in Brookline, Massachusetts. The property was part of the summer estate of the Cabot family, originally belonging to Thomas Handasyd Perkins; the present main mansion house was built in the 1850s to a plan by Edward Clarke Cabot for his sister-in-law, Elizabeth Perkins Cabot. The grounds of the property were originally designed by Perkins, and subsequent generations maintained the grounds to a high degree. In the 1980s it was owned by Mitch Kapor, founder of Lotus Software. The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. Perkins Stone Mansion
The Perkins Stone Mansion is a historic house museum in Akron, Ohio, Akron, Ohio, United States. Overview The mansion is owned and operated by The Summit County Historical Society of Akron, Ohio and is also the organization's headquarters. It was built from 1835 to 1837 by Col. Simon Perkins, son of Akron's founder General Simon Perkins. It served as the family home until 1945 when it was purchased from George Perkins Raymond for $25,000. Design and construction The Perkins Stone Mansion was built between 1835 and 1837 on owned by Colonel Simon Perkins, the oldest son of the City of Akron's founder, Gen. Simon Perkins. At the time of its completion, the home was located one mile from the southwest border of Akron and along the prehistoric Portage Path of Summit County, Ohio. The house overlooked the City of Akron from the front porch and the "widow's walk" on the roof provided a viewing point of the Ohio and Erie Canal. Perkins House is a historic home located near Newton, Catawba County, North Carolina. It was built about 1790, and is a two-story, three bay Federal style brick dwelling. It features a hip-roof porch and a very wide, double shoulder chimney with flared headers. The interior woodwork was removed by the Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts, Old Salem. Jackson–Perkins House
The Jackson–Perkins House is a historic home located at Newark in Wayne County, New York. It is a Tudor Revival style residence purchased in 1864, rebuilt in 1889, and remodeled to its current form in 1921–1922.
