The song was originally written by the band prior to their debut album, ''The Sickness'', and was previously released on the band's documentary, ''M.O.L.'', as a demo track with a music video. The band re-recorded the song in 2007 and released it on ''Indestructible''. It is also featured in the video game ''WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009'' and is a downloadable track in the ''Rock Band'' series. Disturbed is an American heavy metal music, heavy metal band from Chicago, formed in 1994. The band includes guitarist Dan Donegan, drummer Mike Wengren, lead vocalist David Draiman and bassist John Moyer. Donegan and Wengren have been involved in the band since its inception, with Draiman replacing original lead vocalist Erich Awalt in 1996 and Moyer replacing original bassist Steve "Fuzz" Kmak in 2004. Disturbed's debut album, ''The Sickness'', was released in 2000 as a commercial success, mainly due to the singles "Down With the Sickness" and "Stupify". Headbangers Ball
''Headbangers Ball'' is a music television program that consists of heavy metal music videos airing on MTV and its global affiliates. The show began on MTV on April 18, 1987, playing heavy metal music videos from both well-known and more obscure artists. The show offered (and became famous because of) a stark contrast to Top 40 music videos shown during the day. However, with the mainstream rise of alternative rock, grunge, pop punk and rap music in the 1990s, the relevance of ''Headbangers Ball'' came into question, and the show was ultimately canceled in 1995. Over eight years later, as new genres of heavy metal were gaining a commercial foothold and fan interest became unavoidable, the program was reintroduced on MTV2. John Moyer
John Robert Moyer (born November 30, 1973) is an American musician, best known as the bassist for the heavy metal band Disturbed. After the demise of his previous band, The Union Underground, Moyer took over for previous Disturbed bassist Steve "Fuzz" Kmak in 2004. Moyer has played with the group since their third studio album, '' Ten Thousand Fists'', which he played on as a session member, becoming a full-time member around 2005 during the supporting tour for the album. Moyer has also played bass for the supergroup Adrenaline Mob, Art of Anarchy and Operation: Mindcrime. He currently also plays in Stereo Satellite.
