Perevalsk Raion () was a raion (district) of Luhansk Oblast, Ukraine, between 1939 and 2020. The administrative center of the raion was the city of Perevalsk. A raion (; ), often translated as district, is the second-level Administrative divisions of Ukraine, administrative division in Ukraine. Shakhtarsk Raion
Shakhtarsk Raion () was one of the raions of Donetsk Oblast, located in eastern Ukraine. The administrative center of the raion was the city of Shakhtarsk, which was incorporated separately as a city of oblast significance and was not part of the raion. The raion was abolished on 18 July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Donetsk Oblast to eight. However the raion has not been under control of the Ukrainian government since 2014, and has been part of the Donetsk People's Republic which in 2015 abolished it and subordinated to the city of Shakhtarsk. 2022 Annexation Referendums In Russian-occupied Ukraine
In late September 2022, in the context of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Russian-installed officials in Ukraine staged so-called referendums on the annexation of occupied territories of Ukraine by Russia. They were widely described as sham referendums by commentators and denounced by various countries. The validity of the results of the referendums has only been accepted by North Korea. The votes were conducted in four areas of Ukraine – the Russian-occupied parts of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts of Ukraine, and the Russian-appointed military administrations of Kherson Oblast and Zaporizhzhia Oblast, captured and occupied in the first week of the 2022 invasion – as well as in Russia. Luhansk Raion (; ) is a prospective raion (district) of Luhansk Oblast, Ukraine. It was formally created in July 2020 as part of a reformation of Ukraine's administrative divisions. Chornukhyne
Chornushyne (), formerly Chornukhyne (), is a rural settlement in Alchevsk urban hromada, Alchevsk Raion (district), Luhansk Oblast (region), Ukraine. It was formerly in the Popasna Raion and then Perevalsk Raion. In the 2001 Ukrainian census, the town's population was 7,782. The current population estimate is The Kalmius and Chornukha Rivers flow through the town. It is located northeast of Donetsk. Alchevsk
Alchevsk (; ) is a city and the nominal administrative center of Alchevsk Raion in Luhansk Oblast, in the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine. It is located from the administrative center of the oblast, Luhansk. Population: Alchevsk is one of the largest industrial centers in the Donbas, and comprises a quarter of the entire oblast's production.
