Perdono (film)
''Perdono'' (, i.e. "Forgive Me") is a 1966 Italian musical film directed by Ettore Maria Fizzarotti. It is named after the Caterina Caselli's hit song " Perdono". Plot Federico, his girlfriend Laura and her cousin, Caterina, are three young people full of hope, united by a great friendship that seems indissoluble. Caterina, who however does not want to make her cousin Laura suffer, pretends not to reciprocate the young man by making him put his head in order. Ettore Maria Fizzarotti
Ettore Maria Fizzarotti (3 January 1916 – 10 September 1985) was an Italian film director and screenwriter. Born in Naples, the son of the director Armando, he debuted as assistant director in the films of his father, and later collaborated with, among others, Vittorio Cottafavi and Raffaello Matarazzo. He made his directorial debut in 1964, with ''In ginocchio da te'', a '' musicarello'' with Gianni Morandi which was panned by critics but which got a large commercial success. Titanus Films
Titanus (also called Titanus Distribuzione) is an Italian film production and Film distribution, distribution company, founded in 1904 by Gustavo Lombardo (1885–1951). The company's headquarters are located at 28 Via Sommacampagna, Rome and its studios on the Via Tiburtina, 13 km from the centre of Rome. The logo is a gold shield. After the arrival of the French new wave films, Titanus launched a "youth operation", which gave young film artists a chance to create low-budget films with relative freedom. This had approximately 100 first and second productions for Titanus made between 1960 and 1965. This included films by new directors such as Ermanno Olmi, Elio Petri, Damiano Damiani and Lina Wertmuller. Titanus closed down its production branch in 1964, but the company remains active. The ''musicarello'' (; : ''musicarelli'') is a film subgenre which emerged in Italy and which is characterised by the presence in main roles of young singers, already famous among their peers, and their new record album. In the films there are almost always tender and chaste love stories accompanied by the desire to have fun and dance without thoughts. ''Musicarelli'' reflect the desire and need for emancipation of young Italians, highlighting some generational frictions. Nino Terzo
Nino Terzo (22 May 1923 – 8 May 2005) was an Italian actor. Life and career Born in Palermo as Antonino Terzo, he worked intensively in the avanspettacolo and revue theater, entering the stage companies of Totò, Peppino De Filippo, Franco and Ciccio, Domenico Modugno, among others. Terzo was also active as a singer, appearing in several operettas. Terzo made his film debut in 1962, and he soon established himself as one of the most active character actors in the Italian comedy cinema, usually playing, with small variations, the character that made him famous in avanspettacolo, i.e. a man with extremely slow reflexes and a huge speech impediment, which does not allow him to speak before he loudly inhaled and exhaled. Milena Vukotic (, ; born 23 April 1935) is an Italian actress of film, stage and television and former ballerina. Biography Vukotic was born in Rome, to a Montenegrin comedy playwright father and an Italian pianist/composer mother. As a child she studied acting and classical dance, in Italy and France.
