Perak Football Association (PAFA; ms, Persatuan Bolasepak Perak) is the governing body of football for the state of Perak, Malaysia. PAFA is responsible for coordinating and developing regional football, and has teamed up with the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) as the official governing body of football in Malaysia. History Origins Founded in 1921 as Perak Amateur Football Association ( ms, Persatuan Bola Sepak Amatur Perak). Perak has been represented by a team in Malaya Cup since its inaugural season in 1921. They were also one of the founding members of the Malayan Football Association (the predecessor to the modern Football Association of Malaysia) in 1926. Hasnul Zulkarnain Abdul Munaim ( Jawi: حسن الذوالقرنين بن عبدالمنيم, born 16 July 1980) is a Malaysian politician. He has been Member of the Perak State Legislative Assembly for Titi Serong from 2018 to 2022. Background Hasnul was born on 16 July 1980 in Kuala Kangsar, Perak, Malaysia. He had studied at the Sekolah Kebangsaan Sultan Idris 11; Sekolah Menengah Clifford, Kuala Kangsar and Sekolah Menengah Teknik Padang, Rengas before continuing his studies at the Politeknik Ungku Omar, Ipoh for Diploma in Civil Engineering. He married Nadila Sharif and the couple has five children. The cup consists of developmental squad from clubs competing in the top and second division of Malaysian football league system, the Malaysia Super League and the Malaysia Premier League. The cup exists alongside the youth competition for Under-19 players, the Piala Belia. History Since its inception in 1985, Piala Presiden has been the major tournament for Under-21 and Under-23 players. The Malaysia A2 Amateur League ( ms, Liga A2 Amatur Malaysia), (previously known as the Malaysia M4 League), also known as the al-ikhsan Cup for sponsorship reasons, is the third tier football league in the Malaysian football league system. The league was created in 2018 as part of the Malaysian Football League's plan to reform the Malaysian football league structure. After a rebranding of the Malaysian Football League (MFL) in March 2018, the company announced a reform of lower league competitions in Malaysia. The Malaysia Super League ( ms, Liga Super Malaysia) is the men's top professional football division of the Malaysian football league system.
