Per Rune Wølner
Per Rune Wølner (14 June 1949 – 15 October 2016) was a Norwegian footballer who played as a right-back for Strømsgodset in his hometown Drammen. Wølner spent his entire 13-year career at Strømsgodset, making his first-team debut in 1968. He was a member of the Strømsgodset sides that won the Norwegian Premier League in 1970, and the Norwegian Cup in 1969, 1970 and 1973. Drammen () is a city and municipality in Buskerud county, Norway. The port and river city of Drammen is centrally located in the south-eastern and most populated part of Norway. Drammen municipality also includes smaller towns and villages such as Konnerud, Svelvik, Mjøndalen and Skoger. Strømsgodset Toppfotball is a Norwegian professional association football, football club based in Gulskogen, Drammen, competing in the Eliteserien (football), Eliteserien. It is part of the multi-sports club Strømsgodset IF, founded on February 10, 1907. The football team rose to prominence in the late 1960s and early 1970s, led by young striker Steinar Pettersen and his teammates, known as the "Rødgata Boys" (named after their street in Drammen). Eliteserien () is a professional association football league in Norway and the highest level of the Norwegian football league system. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Norwegian First Division. Seasons run from March to November with each team playing 30 matches (playing each other home and away). Most games are played on Sunday evenings. Eliteserien was founded in 1937 as Norgesserien (), and the first season was the 1937–38 season. is a Norwegian Bokmål language newspaper published in Drammen, Norway. History and profile The former dates back to 2 January 1832, when it was known as ''Tiden'', taking the new name in thirteen years later. ''Buskerud Blad'' dates back to 3 July 1883 when it was founded as a conservative alternative to and '' Drammens Blad'', which were both pro-liberal. Strømsgodset Toppfotball Players
Strømsgodset is a former municipality in Vestfold county (from 1964 Buskerud county) in Norway which is today a part of the city of Drammen. History Strømsgodset was originally a small rural annex to the city parish of Bragernes (Drammen). But since this annex belonged to the county of Vestfold, while the city belonged to the county of Buskerud, it had to be established as a formannskapsdistrikt of its own on 1 January 1838. (The law of ''formannskapsdistrikt'' also required a division between cities and rural districts.) The small size of this ''formannskapsdistrikt'' was, however, a problem - and it had to be merged with the larger municipality of Skoger on 1 January 1844. Before the merger Strømsgodset had a population of 731. Skoger (with Strømsgodset) was merged with Drammen on 1 January 1964 - and it was then transferred from the county of Vestfold to the county of Buskerud.
