Per Flatberg
Per Flatberg (18 September 1937 – 11 November 2022) was a Norwegian environmentalist and pharmacist. Flatberg took the pharmaceutical degree at the University of Oslo in 1961 and started working at both the university and at a pharmacy. From 1981 he ran the pharmacy in Lørenskog Municipality and from 1990 the pharmacy in Levanger Municipality. Haltdalen
Haltdalen is a village in Holtålen Municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. The village is located along the river Gaula, about northwest of the village of Renbygda and about southwest of the village of Aunegrenda. The village of Haltdalen has approximately 600 inhabitants (2004). It is situated along the Rørosbanen railway line connecting the town of Røros and the village of Støren. Haltdalen-Røros-Brekken is home to the Haltdalen Training Center, which is used as a training camp for cold-weather warfare by Norwegian and American forces. History From 1838 until 1972, the village was the administrative centre of the old Haltdalen Municipality. Haltdalen is known for the old Haltdalen Stave Church that was built in the 12th century. The Norwegian Society for the Conservation of Nature (, NNV), also known as Friends of the Earth Norway, is one of the largest Norwegian environmental organisations with approximately 24,000 members. The organisation is based on a volunteer work among the members, constituting work both at local and national levels. Norges Naturvernforbund works within a large range of environmental areas. The organisation is affiliated with Friends of the Earth, and member of INFORSE-Europe. The ''Great Norwegian Encyclopedia'' (, abbreviated ''SNL'') is a Norwegian-language online encyclopedia. It has several subdivisions, including the Norsk biografisk leksikon. The online encyclopedia is among the most-read Norwegian published sites, with up to 3.5 million unique visitors per month. Paper editions (1978–2007) The ''SNL'' was created in 1978, when the two publishing houses Aschehoug and Gyldendal merged their encyclopedias and created the company Kunnskapsforlaget.
