Bengt Henrik (Pentti Heikki) Hiidenheimo (29 January 1875, Vihti – 16 February 1918; surname until 1906 ''Törnström'') was a Finnish farmer and politician. He was a Member of the Parliament of Finland from 1913 to 1917, representing the Finnish Party. Hiidenheimo was shot by Red Guards during the Finnish Civil War. Pentti Kouri
Pentti Juha Kalervo Kouri (12 February 1949 – 22 January 2009) was a Finnish economist and venture capitalist. He was born in Kemijärvi. Education and career Kouri was the first Finn to get a scholarship to the United World College of the Atlantic. After graduating from there, he got his master's degree in economics from the University of Helsinki in 1970. In that same year, when he was 21 years old, he was hired by the International Monetary Fund. It was at IMF's research organization where Kouri first met Michael G. Porter, an Australian economist, with whom he later developed the Kouri-Porter model. Kouri received his PhD in Economics from MIT in 1974. He has served as a professor of economics at Stanford, Yale, Helsinki, and New York City universities. Later he became known as a venture capitalist. Pentti Koskela (27 November 1945 – 9 February 2024) was a Finnish ice hockey goaltender and Olympian. Koskela played with Finland men's national ice hockey team, Team Finland at the Ice hockey at the 1968 Winter Olympics, 1968 Winter Olympics held in Grenoble, France. Pentti Korhonen (born 14 June 1951) is a Finnish former professional motorcycle road racer. He competed in Grand Prix motorcycle racing between 1969 and 1979. Korhonen was born in Rantasalmi, Finland. Pentti Kokkonen (born 15 December 1955 in Jämsä) is a Finnish former ski jumper who competed from 1977 to 1986. He won three medals in the team large hill at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships with two golds (1984, 1985) and one bronze (1982). Kokkonen's best individual finish at the world championships was 5th in the large hill at Lahti in 1978. Pentti Kaskipuro
Pentti Ensio Kaskipuro ( (until 1935); 1930–2010) was an artist from Finland. During World War II, Kaskipuro was sent to Sweden as one of the Finnish war children. He returned to Finland in 1946. Kaskipuro was one of the best-known and internationally renowned Finnish graphic artists, not only among specialist circles, but among the art-loving public. The most common themes of his drypoint and aquatint prints are everyday items, such as onions, swedes, potatoes, bread, eggs and vases of flowers. Kaskipuro did not receive much formal art training - he was a private student of Aukusti Tuhka in 1952. After that he worked in advertisement business and learned more techniques of printmaking on his own.
