Clinochlore
The chlorites are the group of phyllosilicate minerals common in low-grade metamorphic rocks and in altered igneous rocks. Greenschist, formed by metamorphism of basalt or other low-silica volcanic rock, typically contains significant amounts of chlorite. Chlorite minerals show a wide variety of compositions, in which magnesium, iron, aluminium, and silicon substitute for each other in the crystal structure. A complete solid solution series exists between the two most common end members, magnesium-rich clinochlore and iron-rich chamosite. In addition, manganese, zinc, lithium, and calcium species are known. The great range in composition results in considerable variation in physical, optical, and X-ray properties. Pennines
The Pennines (), also known as the Pennine Chain or Pennine Hills, are a range of highland, uplands mainly located in Northern England. Commonly described as the "Vertebral column, backbone of England" because of its length and position, the range runs from Derbyshire and Staffordshire in the North Midlands, north of the Midlands to Northumberland in North East England. From the River Tyne, Tyne Gap in the north, the range extends south through the North Pennines, Yorkshire Dales, South Pennines, and Peak District to end near the valley of the River Trent. The Pennine Alps (, , , ), sometimes referred to as the Valais Alps (which are just the Northern Swiss part of the Pennine Alps), are a mountain range in the western part of the Alps. They are located in Italy (the Aosta Valley and Piedmont) and Switzerland (Valais). The Pennine Alps are amongst the three highest major subranges of the Alps, together with the Bernese Alps and the Graian Alps that include the Mont Blanc massif. Pennine Way
The Pennine Way is a National Trail in England, with a small section in Scotland. The trail stretches for from Edale, in the northern Derbyshire Peak District, north through the Yorkshire Dales and Northumberland National Park and ends at Kirk Yetholm, just inside the Anglo-Scottish border, Scottish border. The path runs along the Pennines, Pennine hills, sometimes described as the "backbone of England". Although not the United Kingdom's longest National Trail, it is, according to The Ramblers, "one of Britain's best known and toughest". History The path was the idea of the journalist and rambler Tom Stephenson (activist), Tom Stephenson, inspired by similar trails in the United States, particularly the Appalachian Trail. Pennine FM was an Independent Local Radio station based at Lockwood Park in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, England. The station closed on 5 April 2010 and returned its licence to the industry regulator Ofcom. Background The station was originally launched as ''Huddersfield FM'' by the Minster Sound Radio Group plc in October 1999. The station was bought by Radio Investments Limited and GWR in November 1999, then completely by Radio Investments (now The Local Radio Company) in December 2000 and renamed ''Home 107.9''. It was broadcast from studios at The Old Stableblock, Lockwood Park, Huddersfield. Though popular music was the staple, community output was prominent on the station with content reflecting the diversity of the local communities. In February 2008, ''Home 107.9'' was rebranded as ''The New Pennine FM'', and by June 2008 it had left The Local Radio Company profile and was taken over independently.
