Pelequén
Pelequén is a Chilean town located in the commune of Malloa, O'Higgins Region. Pelequén is 41 km southwest of the city of Rancagua. Culture Pelequén is famous for the religious festivity in honor of Saint Rose of Lima, whose image is in the Sanctuary of the locality. Economy The town's economy is based mainly on wine production, agriculture and handicrafting. There are several wineries in the area, including the Adventura Winery which was opened in 2023 by the Morandé Wine Group. Malloa
Malloa (from Mapudungún ''mallohue'', "place of the white clay") is a Chilean commune and town in Cachapoal Province, O'Higgins Region. Demographics According to the 2002 census of the National Statistics Institute, Malloa spans an area of and has 12,872 inhabitants (6,666 men and 6,206 women). Of these, 4,709 (36.6%) lived in urban areas and 8,163 (63.4%) in rural areas. The population grew by 5.1% (620 persons) between the 1992 and 2002 censuses. O'Higgins Region
The Libertador General Bernardo O'Higgins Region (, ), often shortened to O'Higgins Region (), is one of Chile's 16 first order administrative divisions. It is subdivided into three provinces. Rancagua
Rancagua () is a city and commune in central Chile and part of the Rancagua conurbation. It is the capital of the Cachapoal Province and of the O'Higgins Region, located south of the national capital of Santiago. It was originally named Santa Cruz de Triana by Spanish colonists.
