Frederick Peisley
Frederick Walter James Peisley (6 December 1904 – 22 March 1975) was a British stage, film and television actor and theatre director whose career spanned five decades. He is known for '' The Secret of the Loch'' (1934), ''Gentlemen's Agreement'' (1935) and '' Murder at the Cabaret'' (1936). His later career was mostly in television. Fred Peisley was born in Finchley in London in 1904, the son of Annie Emily and Walter John Peisley, a baker. Mary Peisley
Mary Peisley (1718-1757, married name Mary Neale, sometimes misspelled Paisley) was an Irish Quaker writer. Biography Peisley was born 19 January 1718 at Ballymore, County Kildare: her mother Rachel ( Burton) was from Mannin, County Tipperary, and her father John from Baltiboys, County Wicklow. The family moved in 1723 to a farm at Paddock, Mountrath, County Laois (then known as "Queen's County"), where she was based for the rest of her life until her marriage. She had little formal education and entered domestic service, until at the age of 26 she began to speak at Quaker meetings. Peisley preached around Ireland with Elizabeth Tomey in 1746, and toured England in 1748-50, riding in 29 months and attending 525 meetings. She toured Ireland again in 1751. At an annual London meeting, she, Catherine Payton and four others proposed that a separate women's group should be formed with the Quakers. This was accepted, but not until 1784. Gardiner–Hall Gang
The Gardiner–Hall Gang was an informal group of bushrangers who roamed the central west of the Colony of New South Wales, Australia in the 1860s. Named after leaders Frank Gardiner and Ben Hall (bushranger), Ben Hall, the gang was involved in numerous shootouts and robberies, including Australia's largest ever gold robbery, at Eugowra, New South Wales, Eugowra Rocks. John Peisley (politician)
John Peisley (18059 December 1871) was an Australian politician. He was born in New South Wales to ex-convict farmer John Peisley and publican Elizabeth Boswell. He ran a store in Orange, and on 11 December 1833 married Mary Dean, with whom he had eight children.
