Esmeraldas, Ecuador
Esmeraldas () is a coastal city in northwestern Ecuador. It is the seat of the Esmeraldas Canton and capital of the Esmeraldas Province. It has an international sea port and a small airport (IATA location identifier: ESM). Esmeraldas is the major seaport of northwestern Ecuador, and it lies on the Pacific coast at the mouth of the Esmeraldas River. It is exactly at the antipodes of Padang, Indonesia. Supercopa Ecuador
The Supercopa Ecuador (''Ecuador Supercup'') is an annual one-match football official competition in Ecuador organised by the Ecuadorian Football Federation (FEF) to be played by the champions of the Ecuadorian Serie A and the Copa Ecuador of the previous season, starting from 2020. This competition serves as the season curtain-raiser and is scheduled to be played in late January or early February each year, one week before the start of the season. 2021 Supercopa Ecuador
The 2021 Supercopa Ecuador (named as Supercopa Pilsener 2021 for sponsorship purposes) was the second edition of the Supercopa Ecuador, Ecuador's football super cup. It was originally scheduled to be held from 4 to 10 February 2021 in the cities of Guayaquil and Quito, with four teams participating. It would be the first edition of the competition to feature said number of teams, under a change of format. On 3 February 2021, the Ecuadorian Football Federation (FEF) confirmed that the competition was suspended and rescheduled to the second semester of the year due to an outbreak of COVID-19 in one of the involved teams, with the new dates to be confirmed. The 2020 Supercopa Ecuador was the first edition of the Supercopa Ecuador, Ecuador's football super cup. It was held on 1 February 2020 between 2019 Ecuadorian Serie A champions Delfín and 2019 Copa Ecuador champions LDU Quito, being the third final in a row played between both sides after the final series of both the league and the cup. The 2019 Campeonato Ecuatoriano de Fútbol Serie A (officially known as the LigaPro Banco Pichincha 2019 for sponsorship reasons) was the 61st season of the Serie A, Ecuador's top tier football league, and the first under the management of the Liga Profesional de Fútbol del Ecuador (or LigaPro).
