"Pedro Luis and the Wall") are a brazilian people, Brazilian musical group that mixes rock, samba, rap and funk. the group is composed by Pedro Luís (lead vocals and acoustic guitar), Mário Moura (bass guitar), Sidon Silva, C.A. Ferrari and Celso Alvim (all three do the percussion). Fernanda Abreu (born September 8, 1961) is a Brazilian singer. Biography Fernanda was born and raised in a middle-class family of the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro. Her first notable public appearance was the backing vocal of the band Blitz until 1986. After that, in 1990, she started a solo career, achieving great success in her native country. Monobloco is a Brazilian Blocos, bloco, or street band, that plays during Brazilian Carnival, Carnaval in Rio de Janeiro and is also a professional touring show. Unlike most of Rio's blocos, which tend play one type of music (typically samba), Monobloco has become extremely popular among younger people because of its 'fresh' sound, playing a mix of various rhythms such as Coco (music), coco, ciranda, marchinha, xote, samba, contemporary R&B, and particularly samba-rock and funk.
