Pedro Juan Texidor
Pedro Juan Texidor (April 30, 1951 – March 9, 2024) was a Puerto Rican actor and comedian. Best known for his characterization of "Tato" on a television comedy show named "Entrando Por la Cocina" ("Entering Through the Kitchen"). Texidor was an experienced actor, having worked as one for more than 50 years. Acting Texidor began to study interior designing and publicity, but he was given a grant to study acting at the Cooperative of Theatrical Arts in Puerto Rico and did not finish the former, focusing on the latter instead. He graduated from the University of Puerto Rico. He studied acting under Myrna Vázquez and Felix Monclova, who were the parents of fellow actor Rene Monclova. Texidor then joined "Teatro del Sesenta" ("Sixties Theater"), a theatrical company which at one point also included Luis Oliva and Luz Maria Rondon. Raymond Arrieta
Ramón Emilio "Raymond" Arrieta Vázquez (born March 26, 1965), is a Puerto Rican people, Puerto Rican actor, comedian, host and philanthropist. Starting his career as a comedian in various local shows, Arrieta gained popularity in the 1990s when he hosted a string of successful comedy shows where he showcased his various characters and personifications. Since 2007, Arrieta has been hosting the mid-day variety show ''DÃa a DÃa'', along with Dagmar (Puerto Rico entertainer), Dagmar. Arrieta is also a radio show host and a theater actor. Arrieta has gained prominence for his philanthropy, philanthropic endeavors. After his friend and co-host, Dagmar, was diagnosed with cancer in 2008, Arrieta has performed a yearly charity walk around various parts of the island while also raising awareness. Rapping (also rhyming, flowing, spitting, emceeing, or MCing) is an artistic form of vocal delivery and emotive expression that incorporates "rhyme, rhythmic speech, and ommonlystreet vernacular". Israel Castro Vélez, better known as Shorty Castro (January 28, 1928 – January 22, 2018) was a Puerto Rican comedian, actor, comedy writer, stage director, radio host, singer, dancer, composer and musician, with a career spanning over 60 years. Early career Castro was born in Mayagüez's in La Quinta barrio to Juan Castro Ayala and Victoria Vélez Cuevas, the second and oldest male child of twelve siblings. He developed the skills necessary to become an entertainer: good singing voice, talent as a percussionist, and good timing for comedy. While working full-time as a messenger for the municipality of Mayagüez, Castro held odd jobs in numerous local orchestras, mostly as a singer and percussionist.
