Peder Johnsen
Peder Johnsen (baptised 30 November 1783 – 10 June 1836) was a Norwegian sailor who served as a representative at the Norwegian Constituent Assembly in 1814. Peder Johnsen was born at Tvedestrand in Aust-Agder, Norway. He was the youngest of ten siblings. Johnsen served as a commissioner officer in the Royal Norwegian Navy. He was an accountant at Kristiansand shipyard in Vest-Agder, before he was assigned as a midshipman. In later years, he was the captain of the bark ''De Tvende Brødre''. Norwegian Constituent Assembly
The Norwegian Constituent Assembly ( or ) is the name given to the 1814 constitutional assembly that adopted the Norwegian Constitution and formalised the dissolution of the union with Denmark. The meetings took place at the Eidsvoll Manor in the village of Eidsvoll Verk in the Eidsvoll parish in Akershus county, Norway from 10 April to 20 May 1814. In Norway, it is often just referred to as ''Eidsvollsforsamlingen'', which means ''The Assembly of Eidsvoll''. Aust-Agder
Aust-Agder (, ) was a county (''fylke'') in Norway from 1 January 1919 to 31 December 2019, after it was merged with Vest-Agder to form Agder county. Vest-Agder
Vest-Agder (; "West Agder") was one of 18 counties (''fylker'') in Norway from 1 January 1919 to 31 December 2019, after it was merged with Aust-Agder to form Agder county. Jens Schow Fabricius
Vice-Admiral Jens Schou Fabricius (3 March 1758 – 6 April 1841) was a Norwegian naval officer who served as Minister of the Navy from 1817 to 1818. He served as a representative for ''Søe-Deffensionen'' at the Norwegian Constitutional Assembly at Eidsvoll in 1814. During his naval career he served first the Danish-Norwegian Crown until the separation in 1814 of Norway and Denmark, and thereafter the Norwegian-Swedish Crown. Thomas Konow
Thomas Konow (10 October 1796 – 10 October 1881) was a Norway, Norwegian naval officer and politician. He was a member of the Norwegian Constituent Assembly at Eidsvoll in 1814. Background He was born in Bergen, Norway as a son of merchant Friedrich Ludwig Konow (1746–1798) and his wife Anna Hedvig Rieck (1756–1810). His father and uncle had migrated from Germany to Norway; the surname stemming from the village, Konau. Thomas Konow was a brother of the merchant-politicians Wollert Konow (1779–1839), Wollert Konow and August Konow. In March 1827 he married Catharina Magdalene Reichborn (1807–1844). Career Starting in 1805 as a cadet in the Danish-Norwegian navy, he was promoted to Junior Lieutenant in 1813 and served on the brig ''HDMS Lolland (1810), Lolland'' in Norwegian waters.
