Peder I. Ramsrud
Peder I. Ramsrud (10 February 1923 – 10 June 2014) was a Norwegian politician for the Progress Party. He was born in Fåberg in February 1923. Ramsrud was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Oppland in 1989, but was not re-elected in 1993. He was a member of Østre Toten Østre Toten is a municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Toten. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Lena. Progress Party (Norway)
The Progress Party ( nb, Fremskrittspartiet; nn, Framstegspartiet; se, Ovddádusbellodat), commonly abbreviated as FrP, is a right-wing political party in Norway. The FrP has traditionally self-identified as classical-liberal and as a libertarian party but is generally positioned to the right of the Conservative Party, and is considered the most right-wing party to be represented in parliament. It is often described as moderately right-wing populist; this characterization has also been disputed in both academic and public discourse. By 2020, the party attained a growing national conservative faction. After the 2017 parliamentary election, it was Norway's third largest political party, with 26 representatives in the Storting. FÃ¥berg
Fåberg is a former municipality in the old Oppland county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1838 until 1964. Now, it is part of Lillehammer Municipality in Innlandet county. The administrative centre was the village of Fåberg. History The prestegjeld of ''Faaberg'' (later spelled ''Fåberg'') was established as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt law). On 1 January 1906, a part of Faaberg (population: 140) that was adjacent to the town of Lillehammer was transferred from Faaberg to the town of Lillehammer. During the 1960s, there were many municipal mergers across Norway due to the work of the Schei Committee. On 1 January 1964, Fåberg Municipality (population: 13,381) was merged with the town of Lillehammer (population: 5,905) to form a new Lillehammer Municipality. The Storting ( no, Stortinget ) (lit. the Great Thing) is the supreme legislature of Norway, established in 1814 by the Constitution of Norway. It is located in Oslo. The unicameral parliament has 169 members and is elected every four years based on party-list proportional representation in nineteen multi-seat constituencies. Oppland
Oppland is a former county in Norway which existed from 1781 until its dissolution on 1 January 2020. The old Oppland county bordered the counties of Trøndelag, Møre og Romsdal, Sogn og Fjordane, Buskerud, Akershus, Oslo and Hedmark. The county administration was located in the town of Lillehammer. Merger On 1 January 2020, the neighboring counties of Oppland and Hedmark were merged to form the new Innlandet county. Both Oppland and Hedmark were the only landlocked counties of Norway, and the new Innlandet county is the only landlocked county in Norway. Østre Toten is a municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Toten. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Lena.
