Pearl Modiadie
Pearl Modiadie (born December 29, 1987) is a South African television presenter, radio DJ, actress and producer best known to TV audiences for presenting the SABC1 music talk show Zaziwa. Life and career 1987-2009: Early life and education Pearl Modiadie was born in Xubeni section of Tembisa township in Ekurhuleni in the Gauteng province of South Africa. Modiadie went to Norkem Park High School in Kempton Park, Gauteng, Kempton Park in Ekurhuleni, Gauteng and matriculated in 2005. In 2007 she enrolled at Rosebank College to study a diploma in Media Studies and Journalism. In 2009 Pearl Modiadie completed her diploma at Rosebank College. Career She was previously best known for presenting the e.tv kids programming block ''Craz-e''. In 2007 she co-hosted the kids game show ''Crazed Out''. Tembisa, Gauteng
Thembisa, formerly Tembisa, is a large township situated to the north of Kempton Park on the East Rand, Gauteng, South Africa. It was established in 1957 when black people were resettled from Alexandra and other areas in Edenvale, Kempton Park, Midrand and Germiston. History The township was formed in 1957, under the administration of the Germiston city council which oversaw the forced relocation of black people from locations deemed to be in white areas, such as Dindela, Tikkieline, Phelindaba, and Modderfontein which spanned Edenvale, Modderfontein and Kempton Park. It is the second largest township in Gauteng, following Soweto. In 1977 the government initiated the Community Councils and in 1982 upgraded them to Town Councils, under the Black Local Authorities Act. Rosebank College is an independent Roman Catholic comprehensive co-educational secondary school in the Benedictine tradition, located in Five Dock, an inner-western suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
