The Pearl Jam 2006 World Tour was a concert tour by the American rock band Pearl Jam to support its eighth album, ''Pearl Jam''. Pearl Jam is an American Rock music, rock band formed in Seattle, Washington, in 1990. Stone Carpenter Gossard (born July 20, 1966) is an American musician and songwriter who serves as the rhythm guitarist for the rock band Pearl Jam. Along with Jeff Ament, Mike McCready, and Eddie Vedder, he is one of the founding members of the band. Gossard is also known for his work prior to Pearl Jam with the Seattle-based grunge bands Green River (band), Green River and Mother Love Bone. Gossard was also a member of the bands Temple of the Dog and Brad (band), Brad. In addition to his performing career, he has been active in the music industry as a producer and the owner of a record label and recording studio. The Roskilde Festival is a Danish music festival held annually south of Roskilde. It is one of the largest music festivals in Europe and the largest in the Nordic countries. It was created in 1971 by two high school students and a promoter. Reading And Leeds Festivals
The Reading and Leeds Festivals are a pair of annual music festivals that take place in Reading and Leeds in England. The events take place simultaneously on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the August bank holiday weekend. The Reading Festival is held at Little John's Farm on Richfield Avenue in central Reading, near Caversham Bridge. The Leeds event is held in Bramham Park, near Wetherby, the grounds of a historic house. The Point Theatre (sometimes referred to as the Point Depot or simply as the Point) was a concert and events venue in Dublin, Ireland, that operated from 1988 to 2007, visited by in excess of 2 million people. It was located on the North Wall Quay of the River Liffey, amongst the Dublin Docklands. During its lifespan, the venue had a seated capacity of 6,300 or 8,500 standing.
